Transliteration:
Allāhumma innī as’aluka ḥubbak, wa ḥubba man yuḥibbuk, wal-‘amala alladhī yuballighunī ḥubbak. Allāhumma’j‘al ḥubbaka aḥabba ilayya min nafsī, wa ahlī, wa minal-mā’il-bārid.

Meaning:
“O Allah, I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and deeds that will cause me to attain Your love. O Allah, make Your love more beloved to me than myself, my family, and cold water.”

The disbeliever is lost in the horizons,
The believer is such that the horizons are contained within him.”

Whether or not these exact words are authentically his, the meaning reflects a profound Qur’anic reality.

says in , Surah Fussilat (41:53):

“We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the Truth.”

And in Adh-Dhariyat (51:20–21):

“And on the earth are signs for those of assured faith. And within yourselves—will you not then see?”

1️⃣ The One Lost in the Horizons

There are people who look only outward:
• They study the stars but forget the Creator of the stars.
• They analyze the body but ignore the soul.
• They search the universe but never question their own heart.

They are surrounded by signs, yet remain spiritually empty.
They see the creation, but not the .

2️⃣ The Believer Whose Heart Contains the Horizons

The believer reflects both outward and inward:
• When he sees the sky, his heart says: SubḥānAllāh.
• When he feels his heartbeat, he remembers his dependence on Allah.
• When he reflects on himself, he finds proof of divine wisdom.

The believer’s heart becomes so illuminated with īmān that the “horizons” — the signs of Allah — are alive within him.
He does not merely observe creation; he connects it to its Lord.

3️⃣ The Balance Islam Teaches

Islam does not reject science, knowledge, or exploration.
But it teaches that external knowledge without inner awakening leads to arrogance.

True success is when:
• The mind explores the universe,
• And the heart submits to Allah

Islam doesn’t suppress desire — it protects it through Nikah. 🤍

📖 Qur’an

Transliteration:
Wa lā taqrabū az-zinā, innahu kāna fāḥishatan wa sā’a sabīlā

Meaning:
“And do not even go near zina. Indeed, it is an immorality and an evil path.”
(Surah Al-Isra 17:32)

Islam doesn’t only forbid the sin —
it blocks the road leading to it.

📜 Hadith

Transliteration:
Yā ma‘shara ash-shabāb, man istaṭā‘a minkumul-bā’ata falyatazawwj
Fa-innahu aghaḍḍu lil-baṣar wa aḥṣanu lil-farj

Meaning:
“O young people! Whoever among you can afford it, let him marry, for it lowers the gaze and guards chastity.”
(Bukhari & Muslim)

💭 Non-mahram relationships begin with words,
but end with hearts breaking and iman weakening.

💍 Nikah is protection.
🚫 Fitnah is destruction.

Choose Sunnah over society.
Choose halal before regret.

🕊️ If Someone Harms You: Justice Is Allowed, But Sabr Is Higher 🕊️

is a religion of balance. It does not command weakness, nor does it promote revenge. If someone slaps you, Islam allows equal response, but choosing sabr (patience) raises your rank with Allah.

📖 Qur’an: Permission for Justice

Transliteration:
Wa jazā’u sayyi’atin sayyi’atun mithluhā fa-man ‘afā wa aṣlaḥa fa-ajruhu ‘alā Allāh

Translation:
“And the recompense of an evil is an evil like it. But whoever and makes reconciliation — his reward is with .”
📚 (Surah Ash-Shūrā 42:40)

📖 Qur’an: Is Better

Transliteration:
Wa la’in ṣabartum la-huwa khayrun lil-ṣābirīn

Translation:
“But if you are patient, it is better for those who are patient.”
📚 (Surah An-Naḥl 16:126)

🕌 Hadith:

Transliteration:
Laysa ash-shadīdu bis-ṣura‘ah, innamā ash-shadīdu alladhī yamliku nafsahu ‘inda al-ghaḍab

Translation:
“The strong one is not the one who overpowers others, but the strong one is the one who controls himself when angry.”
📚 (Bukhari 6114, Muslim 2609)

🌙 Hadith: Reward for Controlling Anger

Transliteration:
Man kaẓama ghayẓan wa huwa qādirun ‘alā an yunfidhahu, da‘āhu Allāhu ‘alā ru’ūsi al-khalā’iq

Translation:
“Whoever suppresses anger while able to act upon it, Allah will call him before all of creation…”
📚 (Tirmidhi 2021 – Hasan)

🧕 Example from the Sahabah

A man once insulted Abu Bakr (رضي الله عنه) in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ.
Abu Bakr remained silent. The man insulted him again — still silence.
When the man insulted him a third time, Abu Bakr responded.

The Prophet ﷺ stood up and left.

Abu Bakr asked why. The Prophet ﷺ said:

“An angel was defending you as long as you were silent. When you replied, the angel left and Shayṭān came. I do not sit where Shayṭān is present.”
