Dear Wellness Warriors,

As we step into a brand-new year, let’s focus on small, sustainable habits that can lead to big changes in our health and happiness. Here are some doctor-approved resolutions to inspire you:

1️⃣ Move More: Aim for at least 30 minutes of physical activity daily—walk, stretch, dance, or hit the gym!
2️⃣ Eat Mindfully: Include more fruits, veggies, and whole grains in your diet. Reduce sugar and processed foods.
3️⃣ Hydrate Regularly: Drink at least 8 glasses of water every day to keep your body energized.
4️⃣ Sleep Well: Prioritize 7-8 hours of quality sleep to recharge your body and mind.
5️⃣ Mental Wellness: Practice mindfulness, gratitude, or meditation for stress relief.
6️⃣ Routine Checkups: Don't skip your regular health checkups—it’s easier to prevent than to cure.
7️⃣ Quit Harmful Habits: Whether it’s smoking, excessive alcohol, or unhealthy snacking, make 2025 the year to let go.
8️⃣ Stay Connected: Build and nurture meaningful relationships—they’re great for your mental health!

💡 Remember: Small steps, consistently taken, lead to lasting wellness. Let’s make 2025 our healthiest year yet!

**Tears in her eyes, coming from the core of her heart.**

This is the story of an Indian girl from a middle-class family who dreams of becoming a doctor. Her journey is filled with struggles and challenges from the very beginning.

First, she battles societal taboos, just for wanting to study beyond what's deemed "acceptable." Then comes the brutal reality of competitive exams like NEET, where corruption runs rampant (NEET scams, Vyapam scandal). Your chances of selection? One in a lakh – and that's just to get into a government medical college.

But for those who overcome these obstacles, the journey isn't over. Those who make it through are the brightest minds in the country, the lucky few who managed to navigate the path littered with fraud and injustice.

Once admitted, the next challenge begins: mastering 19 subjects and enduring endless exams over four grueling years, all for that coveted "Dr." in front of your name.

Happy now? Think again.

If you want to be a *good* doctor, you must choose a specialty. But not based on your performance in MBBS – no! You have to go through another cutthroat exam: NEET-PG. Once again, your fate is decided by a rank, another corrupt system, and another hurdle to clear.

Finally, if you're determined and lucky enough to secure a residency in a decent government hospital, you dedicate yourself with passion and zeal, despite the horrific conditions. 36 to 48-hour shifts, no proper changing rooms, filthy washrooms, and zero hygiene. You expose yourself to diseases from your patients, and no one cares how or if you eat. All that matters are the files.

And then, one tragic night during your night duty, you're r***d and murdered by some goons.

All your hard work, dedication, and dreams—shattered.

Who is the fool now?

This isn't just a story—it's the harsh reality for many. A system that fails its brightest, its most dedicated. We need change.
