In Reiki, healing is not about effort , from the client or the practitioner.

The practitioner’s role is to hold presence, intention, and a safe, grounded space. They act as a channel, allowing energy to flow naturally, without forcing or controlling it.

The client’s role is simple: rest.
You don’t need to believe in Reiki.
You don’t need to visualize, focus, or “try to receive.”
You don’t even need a quiet mind.
Your body and nervous system are naturally receptive — just like they are during sleep.
Reiki works even if you’re:
• Mentally busy
• Skeptical
• Emotionally overwhelmed
• Asleep

Healing happens at the pace your system feels safe and ready for.
Think of it this way:
The practitioner offers the space.
Your body decides what it needs.
Reiki does the work.
Sometimes, the most powerful healing begins when we stop trying.
