Support good causes, make new friends, and feel great! Since 2015, Feel Great Helping has focused its efforts on grassroots initiatives that help women.

Feel Great Helping encourages and makes it easier for people to use their skills and talents to make a positive contribution to their community. Feel Great Helping is based in Abu Dhabi, the UAE, where volunteers organise social and self-development activities for women labourers in the following areas:

o HEALTH AND WELLNESS: helping women labourers to be fitter, healthier and feel good about themselves. o CULTURE AND HERITAGE: helping women labourers to learn more about the UAE, increase their understanding of Emirati culture, and appreciate each other's cultures. o SKILLS AND CREATIVITY: helping women labourers to develop skills and express their creativity. o SOCIAL AND CELEBRATION: helping women labourers to celebrate occasions special to them while creating happy memories of the UAE

A big thanks to Cleiza for running another fun, successful sewing workshop at West Coast women's camp in Mussafah, where we upcycled t-shirts into these handy backs. Thanks also to Aisha who led the way and showed the ladies how to personalise their bag using stencils and fabric paint. Nice job everyone!

When we delivered gift packs to one of the women's camps this evening, some of the ladies mentioned they wished they had a small oven to do baking. Being in the festive spirit we headed to the store, spotted an oven on special offer and surprised the ladies with it right away. Can't wait to see what they bake!

135 women labourers received festive gift bags this evening. We are looking forward to spreading more smiles and festive spirit over the next few days

SUV stuffed full of festive gift bags ready for delivery! Santa's helpers have been super busy this week getting 500 gift packs ready for women labourers before many of us head to our home countries for the festive season. Thanks to everyone who has pitched in to get this done within a very short timeframe.
