Aster Volunteers Mobile Medical Services has been conceptualized to provide free medical care to people having less access to healthcare and to enhance health awareness among various communities for building a healthier society. The increasing number of road traffic accidents in this part of the world is a matter of serious concern and this problem drastically needs targeted research in order to identify methods of reducing accidents and fatalities. The preliminary plans include series of awareness programmes through outreach activities and development of portfolio of information resources and awareness materials which will be communicated through various print, electronic and social media. With these tools we will endeavor to educate the members of society about the importance of safety measures on the roads and how even very minute observations can save countless lives.

🩸 Rakt Sanjeevani – Anemia Mukt Bharat Health Camp 🩸

Aster Volunteers Mobile Medical Services, in partnership with IGF India, successfully organized a Rakt Sanjeevani – Anemia Mukt Bharat Camp at Composite Vidyalaya, Kevtahi, Deegh, Bhadohi on 07/02/2026.

👩‍🎓 Total Participants: 79
🔴 Identified Anemic Cases: 17

The camp focused on raising awareness about anemia, promoting menstrual hygiene, and screening adolescent girls for anemia to ensure early intervention and healthy practices.

🩺 Activities Conducted:
✔️ Interactive awareness session on anemia, iron-rich diet, balanced nutrition, and menstrual hygiene management
✔️ Haemoglobin screening for 79 students and staff (17 identified as anemic)
✔️ Provision of iron and folic acid supplements, dietary counseling, and medical advice for follow-up
✔️ Distribution of sanitary pads to participating girls
✔️ Distribution of Dabur health and hygiene products, including real fruit juice, toothbrushes, and toothpaste
