Feelings Friday 🫶

Last night the storm really came in…
lightning, thunder rolling through the sky,
a little ominous, a little unpredictable ⛈️

We brought everything in from the balcony
and let it move.

And somehow, I still slept through most of it.

It reminded me of Ibiza… last year…
when everything felt unsettled around me.

But something feels different now.

Less resistance
More trust

The storm can move around me…and I don’t have to move with it.

And now the skies begin to clear, a gentle reminder that not everything that feels heavy is here to stay.

11 years in Dubai… 11 things I’m grateful for 🤍

1. My 3 rescue cats… my little companions through it all.
2. The friendships that found me here, and the ones that stayed.
3. Spaces that welcomed me to share, teach, and grow.
4. The unfolding… of who I am, both in life and in work
5. Nourishment in so many forms, including beautiful vegan food 🌱
6. A way of living that felt… easeful, supportive, held.
7. Moments of stillness… hidden within a fast-moving city.
8. The mountains ⛰️ where I could breathe, reset, remember.
9. The coming together of so many cultures, stories, and souls.
10. Care and support when I truly needed it most.
11. A deep sense of safety, stability, and protection.

11 years… blended with lessons, growth, and quiet becoming.

Dubai has been more than a place… it’s been a chapter of transformation 💖

And as I begin to soften into the next one…
there is only gratitude ✨

International Women’s Day 🤍

This year feels a little different. Recent days have been a reminder of how precious peace and safety really are.

For many of us, it’s been an unsettling time. And even as someone who usually holds space for others, I’ve felt my own moments of vulnerability too.

But perhaps that is also part of the strength women carry 🤍 The ability to keep caring, supporting and holding hope, even when things feel uncertain.

Today I honour the incredible women everywhere ✨

Sending love, peace and angel prayers for gentler days ahead for our world 🙏

Feelings Friday 🫶

The last six days here in Dubai have felt incredibly uncertain with cancelled flights, alerts on our phones, and nights spent sheltering.

Through it all, the response from the UAE has been truly incredible. The calm, the care, and the systems in place to keep people safe have been remarkable, and for that I feel deeply grateful.

This week has also asked me to make some difficult decisions. The kind that sit heavy on the heart and quietly drain your energy.

The situation we are witnessing feels senseless and quite unbelievable at times. My hope is simply that peace will prevail 🕊️

For now, I’m focusing on finding calm in the chaos… and sending love, peace, and Angelic energy to everyone affected by this situation. Here in the region and beyond 🙏

Holding trust that calmer days will return…. One breath at a time 🤍

Feelings Friday 🫶

One of my cats was at the vets this week.

When he came home, everything was technically the same…
but the energy felt different.

There was a little confusion.
A little distance.
A quiet search for something familiar.

The toy box seems to be helping 🤍

It made me think about how we move through in-between spaces.

Sometimes nothing is “wrong.”
Nothing dramatic has happened.
And yet things feel subtly shifted.

Not quite leaving.
Not quite landing.
Just… adjusting.

This feels a bit like where I am right now.

Letting things move forward without forcing them.
Allowing softness with change 🤍

Fun fact: St Valentine wasn’t just about romance 💕 he was a healer.
He married couples in secret when it was forbidden, and legend says he even healed the sight of his jailer’s daughter.

These days, love feels more embodied.
