Salam all,, saadia here..just wana jump in to introduce myself a bit…
I’m a Pakistani living in Dubai,love learning and teaching,enjoy various sports and volunteering:)

My journey to Natural birth started after the 1st pregnancy, which was a miscarriage. I wanted to learn about birth and pregnancy to empower myself for the future.
In this search, I found AMANI Birth. This training program equipped me with the knowledge that changed sadness into excitement; it gave me strength to begin a new journey.
Since then,I have birthed 3 beautiful boys, Alhamdolilah. The first was at the hospital, all naturally without any drugs; the second and third were courageous home births.

I’m a CERTIFIED AMANI DOULA AND CHILDBIRTH EDUCATOR and I teach & support mamas in pregnancy and labor.

Im also a Certified VBAC Doula, VBAC link which means I can guide you how to achieve a natural birth after a C-Section

I’m also a Breastfeeding Counsellor , provide postpartum care, such as womb steaming and belly binding, and also supports mamas in baby wearing and cloth diapering.

Learning about childbirth, pregnancy, and labor helped me achieve such empowering births that I pledged to spread this knowledge around, so stick around if you wana keep learning too inshallah!

Helping a mum in labor at home…

I went there to get the training but came out with so much healing of my own experiences and passion for the cause…we all need to talk more about the topic and spread awareness

At the end Went for a tour to the labor ward and they have some amazing birth pools in birthing rooms!

This was the first time I saw the placenta..touched it…mesmerized by it….it was a home birth which I assisted along side an amazing midwife who taught me how the actual care looks like!

P.S: yes there is a knife next to it on cutting board as the mother wanted to consume it so it was chopped n placed in her smoothie :)
