My monthly favssssss for you guys!

is an incredible local brand that I’ve fallen in love with and now use all of their products. Natural, non-toxic and smell delish 🙏🏼

eyeshadow - I’m not really a make up girlie but we love a non-tox makeup brand and this one hits the mark

shorts that I loved so much that I bought in like 4 other colours. Enough said 🙇🏽‍♀️

Copper tongue scraper because your mouth isn’t truly clean unless you’re scraping your tongue. I’ve linked my fav one in my highlights

Last but certainly not leave, water bottle (32oz). I am a self-proclaimed water bottle connaseur. I own upwards of 25 that are spread across 3 continents lol and I can say with certainty that this size and brand has the best drinking and carrying experience. I’ve also linked this in my highlights 🫶🏼

Let's debunk the myth once and for all – Carbs DO NOT make you fat! 🙅‍♀🚫 In fact, they're an essential part of a balanced diet that keeps us energized, fueled, and ready to take on the world.

🏃‍♂️ Carbs are your body's preferred source of energy, helping you power through workouts, crush your daily tasks, and maintain that radiant glow. Plus, they're crucial for brain function! 🧠

🌾 Whole grains, colorful veggies, and legumes are just a few examples of carb-rich foods that provide essential nutrients and dietary fiber, promoting digestive health and overall well-being.

Another month, another snapshot of some of my fav products 🫡

I could talk endlessly about the benefits of using a habit tracker which I’ll prob do as a separate post one of these days but for now I’ll leave you with this-

Your life is made up of the habits you preform daily. You are your habits. You have control over your future through being intentional with your habits.

Tracking is the easiest way to get a birds eye view of what you’re struggling with so you can problem solve and use the powers of routine to motivate you to continue with the healthy habits through tracking.

I get it- you’re struggling to stick to your diet for more than a week or two.

Have you thought about what might be holding you back?

- you might be under eating and your hunger/binges are telling you that your body simply needs more food

- crappy sleep inevitably leads to higher hunger so cleaning up your sleep routine will help you in more ways than one

- inaccurate tracking (not tracking oils, condiments, mindlessly snacking, etc) - these can add up!

- expecting too much too soon. Slow and steady wins the race with fat loss. If you’re losing 20lb in a month, I’d bet money on you putting it all back on. The process needs to be sustainable otherwise you’ll gain the weight right back so put yourself in a slight deficit and slowly chip away at it while looking at tweaking your current daily habits to get you there. It’s you vs your old habits.

What’s something that you can do today that will make you proud?

This is something I ask my clients often.

We might not be able to do ALL the things but we can definitely do one small thing that will get us closer to our health goals and leave us feeling proud.

For me, it’s prepping my lunch everyday so that I’ve got a sense of stability.

You wake up after a night out and the scale says you’ve gained 2.5lb 🙃 We’ve ALL been there, trust me. Hating yourself because you fu**ed up all of your hard work in just one night.

What if I told you that probably wasn’t the case?The scale is ALWAYS going to fluctuate. If you don’t believe me, step on the scale multiple times during a single day and you’ll see for yourself. This is common and this is normal. The scale is impacted by where we are in our cycle, alcohol consumption, sugar, carb intake, hydration levels and so much more. Why do we still beat ourselves up about scale fluctuations if we know this to be true?

Something that has really helped both myself and my clients, is thinking of your progress as a pie with manyyyy slices. One way to track progress is with the scale, another is with measurements, another is photos, your physical capabilities, your mental health, and so on. If you mentally zoom out and take a look at ALL slices of the pie rather than just zoning in on one (the scale), you’ll get a more accurate snapshot of how you’re doing and you’ll also slowly help yourself to detach from the number on the scale.

Here are some of my fav items that I’ve been loving recently.-

If you’re having a hard time sleeping or struggling with chronic stress, this supp has done wondersss for my sleep 🙏🏼

For all my curly (or wavy) haired girls- this curl product really helps my waves stay defined in the Dubai heat (and humidity) which is hard to find.

A cooler bag that actually keeps your drinks cold is a must in the desert 🥵
