THE WONDER OF SHORT-INTENSE-INFREQUENT TRAINING
This is probably the most important article you have ever read for your fitness and well-being.

Getting excellent fat loss, toning or muscle building results is much simpler than you might think.

When it comes to training, it is baffling that the majority of people (and trainers) still cling to concepts like:⁣

- workouts lasting an hour or more
- gym every day (or almost)
- multiple sets of the exercise to achieve an (excessive) amount of training volume.⁣

Not only is the above wrong and ineffective, but also counterproductive.

It’s amazing that even though science has shown that short, intense and infrequent training is the best protocol for achieving the best results, people keep falling into the thought that the more and longer you train, the greater the results.⁣

Totally wrong.⁣

Muscle cells are like switches: either they are activated with the right intensity - the WEIGHT used - or they remain COMPLETELY inactive if this is not enough.⁣

That means that if you think that using a lower weight prolonging the exercise time can produce effects as well, you are delusional.

Unfortunately, most gyms and trainers continue to adopt this approach, which is the reason why statistics confirm that 93% of people who join a gym do not get results or leave after 2-3 months.⁣

To get results, it is CRUCIAL to use an appropriate weight.

Only in this way can you achieve a muscle and metabolic STIMULUS, therefore the desired results.

Long training sessions with inadequate weights, every day of the week, will not lead to significant results.

FITNESS FOODIE: SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN

Has your chicken dinner repertoire gotten a little boring?

Spice things up with our Wellness recipe (good for the palate but also for your figure) for a tender, salty, sweet and sour and tasty chicken dinner! This recipe serves chicken legs that are browned on the outside and flavored on the inside. The tender carrots and celery are in tasty morsels served with the chicken.

Serve a vibrant green salad to complement this meal, made with spinach or kale. And it is ready to taste!

What you need | Servings: 8

1.3 kg of boneless and skinless chicken legs
Sea salt (always use pink Hymalaya salt) and black pepper
2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
1 yellow onion, chopped
4 carrots, halved lengthwise and sliced
4 sliced ​​celery
8 cloves of garlic, minced
¼ cup of coconut palm sugar
1 cup of dry red wine
½ cup of apple cider vinegar
½ cup of freshly squeezed orange juice
¼ cup of sliced ​​almonds

INSTRUCTIONS:
Wash the chicken and dry it. Season both sides with sea salt and black pepper. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and brown each side, about 5 minutes. Transfer the chicken to a clean plate and drain it from the pan.
Add the onion, carrot, celery and garlic to the pan and cook over medium-high heat for about 8 minutes, until golden brown. Add the coconut palm sugar, wine, vinegar, orange juice and sliced ​​almonds. Bring to the boil.
Add the chicken to the pan and cook, partially covered, for 35 minutes or until cooked through. Remove the lid and cook for a few more minutes, until the sauce has thickened. Serve hot. It's ready!
