Took a one-hour ride out to a secluded beach tucked inside a nature reserve. This is what raw, untouched nature looks like during sargassum season. And honestly, it’s not as bad as people make it seem. The water is still warm, still inviting. Once you move past the seaweed along the shore, it’s just you and the calm.

There’s something beautiful about embracing the whole picture, the unfiltered, the imperfect. Life isn’t meant to be spotless. It’s the contrast, the messy with the magical, that gives the best moments their depth and meaning. If everything were perfect all the time, we’d stop noticing how good it really is when it is good.

We did it!!! We closed on our dream home in Tulum!
After patiently waiting, we finally have the keys to our home away from home — and it was so worth it.
