YogAthought Learn about Yoga Therapy and Practice Yoga comes to Misha as a transferred knowledge! In her words, “Yoga is a continuous learning.

She was given the knowledge by her father in 2008 as an attempt to cure her through a long illness. Her dad has been an athlete and has been practicing meditation since his early years of university. In 2008 he took a leap of faith to cure her from Epilepsy and through dedication and continuous practice, she has today not only cured herself but is also guiding many people around to cure themselves. She dedicates her lifestyle and health to this knowledge of Hatha Yoga, which synchonizes breathing, gentle stretching, posture and alignment and relaxation. She believes that her health is a result of her lifestyle and vegetarian food habits. She has always been a vegetarian and has great strength and stamina without the consumption of artificial nutrition. In order to carve this knowledge further, she spent her time in the Himalayas under the guidance of Yogi Dinesh Chander to study the Mantras, Yogic Practice, Ayurveda, Pranayama, and Anatomy. With a successful completion of this yogic course, she got certified as a Yoga Teacher by the Yoga Alliance to practice and teach and is also registered with US Yoga Alliance. She believes that yoga is a self-discovery and it is important to keep its integrity intact and should be transferred in the same way as attained. In am attempt to do that, she decided to start her practice in a way where she can introduce the beginners to Yoga and treat those who need as well. Everyday is a new learning and exploration of self. Self-study is a part of my routine and that helps to maintain the standards of the practice and its integrity at all times. As a Yogini, my aim is to show the path of knowledge to others, so that they can create their own paths for a better tomorrow!”

For those who suffer from and , this is an excellent posture. Changing planet paths has left many of us anxious in our personal and professional lives. Despite going through resolutions, if you still find yourself anxious, I would highly recommend practicing this. With my clouded mind today, this pose has brought some sense of stability and peace. Also, because I went into the posture with an intention of peace, this ended up being my longest - even though first attempt was not perfect.

Your mind will always believe everything you tell it. Feed it hope. Feed it truth. Feed it with love. Be a beginner! In the beginner’s mind there are many possibilities; in the expert’s mind there are few.
