Yoga comes to Misha as a transferred knowledge. She was given the knowledge by her father in 2008 as an attempt to cure her through a prolonged illness. Her father has been an athlete and has been practicing meditation since the early years of his life. In 2008 he took a leap of faith to cure her of a neurological disease, Epilepsy and through dedication and continuous practice, she has today not only cured herself but is also guiding many people around to cure themselves. She dedicates her lifestyle and health to this knowledge of Hatha Yoga, which synchronizes breathing, gentle stretching, posture and alignment, and relaxation. She believes that her health is a result of her lifestyle and vegetarian food habits. She has been vegetarian since birth and has great strength and stamina without the consumption of artificial nutrition. In order to carve this knowledge further, she spent her time in the Himalayas under the guidance of Yogi Dinesh Chander to study the Mantras, Yogic Practice, Ayurveda, Pranayama, and Anatomy. With a successful completion of this yogic course, she got certified as a Yoga Teacher by the Yoga Alliance to practice and teach and is also registered with US Yoga Alliance. She believes that yoga is a self-discovery and it is important to keep its integrity intact and should be transferred in the same way as attained. With this in mind, she decided to start her practice where she can introduce the beginners to Yoga and also assist those who need it as a cure. In her words, “Yoga is a continuous learning. Every day is a new learning and exploration of self. Self-study is a part of my routine and that helps to maintain the standards of the practice and its integrity at all times. As a Yogini, my aim is to show the path of knowledge to others, so that they can create their own paths for a better tomorrow!”
