Day: 1370 in šŸ‡¦šŸ‡Ŗ - PT of the Year 2025.

Last night wasn’t about a trophy.
It was about time.

Years of early mornings when no one was watching.
Late nights fixing cases that didn’t fit templates.
Clients who came in broken, confused, scared… and stayed long enough to rebuild.

This award carries the weight of every plan rewritten.
Every setback adjusted.
Every promise kept when it would have been easier to quit.

What started as one coach trying to prove himself
has become a body of work built on consistency, science, and trust.

And a place that backed that work when it mattered.

I see this every week in Dubai.

People training six days a week, doing everything ā€œrightā€ā€¦
but their labs say something else.

Fasting glucose up.
HbA1c creeping higher.
Cortisol stressed.
Thyroid slowing down.

Across the UAE, nearly one in three adults now lives with either diabetes or pre-diabetes — that’s how widespread this has become.

They’re counting calories but not checking insulin.
Tracking macros but ignoring micronutrients.
Training hard but sleeping poorly.

So fat loss slows.
Energy drops.
Motivation dies.

This isn’t a lack of effort.
It’s a lack of direction.

But my life never moved like that.

When I came to Dubai, I also had a simple plan in my head.

Reality was different.
Setbacks, delays, problems I didn’t expect, days when nothing made sense.
Sometimes even when I showed up perfectly, life still pushed me back down.

But one thing never changed.
I didn’t stop.

Every time the graph went down, I pushed it back up with discipline.
Every failure became fuel.
Every delay became a lesson.
And every challenge became another reason to level up.

This car, this body, these awards… they didn’t come from luck.
They came from staying consistent when life was anything but smooth.

Most people only check fasting sugar and HbA1c.
But those numbers rise after the damage is done.

Insulin resistance starts quietly
years before your sugar becomes ā€œabnormal.ā€

There is one test that detects the problem early:

HOMA-IR.
A calculation of fasting insulin + fasting glucose.

If your HOMA-IR is high, two things begin happening long before diabetes shows up:

• belly fat increases
• cravings become stronger
• energy drops
• fat loss slows
• blood sugar starts rising in the background

This is why so many people say:
ā€œMy reports were normal last year… now I’m prediabetic.ā€

It wasn’t sudden.

A city I came to with one suitcase, one degree, and a very stubborn belief that science and discipline could change lives.

Today that belief was honoured on a stage I once watched from far away.

And thank you to every client who trusted me when they were scared, tired, diabetic, injured, postpartum, overweight, or starting from zero. You shaped the coach I am becoming.

This award is not the finish line.
It is a reminder to keep learning, keep serving, and keep building that bridge between medicine and fitness one result at a time.
