This Women’s Day, I’m foregoing the usual narrative. Instead of highlighting the struggles we already know too well, let’s turn our gaze to the unsung heroes—the Palestinian women enduring unimaginable hardships. They’re burying their babies, giving birth in chaos with no medicine, and searching for food for their families while starving themselves. They’re the ones without basic necessities or personal hygiene, the ones who’ve lost everything and still strive to keep their families together. Today, I stand proud as a Palestinian woman, and my greatest honor is fighting for Banat Baladi, for as long as it takes.
