In recent times, many have attempted to bridge religious insight with psychological theory, and one among them is Dr. Israr Ahmad, a leading Pakistani Islamic scholar known for his analytical depth and intellectual clarity.
In several of his lectures and writings, Dr. Ahmad discussed the nature of human temperaments—especially introversion and extroversion—in ways that resonate strongly with Jungian psychological theory.
This article explores Dr. Israr Ahmad’s reflections on personality types and maps them onto Carl Jung’s analytical psychology, offering a synthesis that reveals deep commonalities between the two traditions.

On this day, September 11, 1948, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah passed away. With his demise, the future of the country also seemed to dim, which, under current circumstances, appears to be proving true. However, as he stated in his speeches, we should never lose hope and always strive to act positively, as this ultimately leads to success. Let’s remain hopeful that sanity prevails among the elites and that progress accelerates in a positive direction.
