Expert-led, community-driven, and focused on workplace wellbeing. The GCC Menopause Hub is the GCC’s first menopause-centric hub, created to support women through perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause. Our mission is to make menopause easier to understand, talk about, and support across the region. We do this through expert-led education, credible women’s health information, and open, stigma-free conversation. We are a free community that brings together women, healthcare experts, and workplace leaders to address menopause as a women’s health, well-being, and workplace issue, not something to be endured in silence. Through regular events, talks, and community sessions, we focus on:
• Menopause education and awareness
• Women’s health and wellbeing
• Workplace menopause awareness and support
• Community connection and shared experience

As the nation remains alert and informed, staying emotionally grounded can help families cope with rising tension.

Even in uncertain moments, steadiness is strength. Taking small steps to regulate your emotions can make a meaningful difference for you and those around you.

Authorities continue to manage the situation responsibly, with public safety as a priority. If you are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or distressed, support is available.

Sometimes we say things because it feels easier than explaining how we really feel.

We say we’re fine.
We say it’s just stress.
We say we’ll push through.

But for many women, especially during menopause, there is so much more happening beneath the surface.

Our expert , Assistant Clinical Director and Co-Director of Women’s Services at , shares something powerful:

“Menopause is not a breakdown of femininity.
It is an evolution of it.
And when supported psychologically, not just medically, it can become one of the most powerful passages in a woman’s life.”

That support makes all the difference.

If these slides felt familiar, you’re not alone. There is space to talk, to ask, and to be understood.

As Ramadan approaches, many women prepare for a month of fasting. A time of spiritual focus, discipline, and strengthening faith.

For women in perimenopause and menopause, this season can feel slightly different. As hormones shift, the body regulates energy, hydration, sleep, and stress in new ways. Fasting may feel more intense than it once did, and that is not a sign of weakness. It is physiology.

That is why King’s College Hospital London and The GCC Menopause Hub have come together to provide informed, evidence based guidance for women fasting during this stage of life. By combining clinical expertise with trusted community support, we are ensuring women across the GCC have access to clear, culturally relevant advice this Ramadan.

Midlife does not mean stepping back from meaningful practices. It means approaching them with greater awareness and preparation.

If you have questions about fasting during perimenopause or menopause, drop them in the comments below and our expert network will respond.

If you would like ongoing guidance, events, and specialist access, join our community through the link in bio.
