Expert-led, community-driven, and focused on workplace wellbeing. The GCC Menopause Hub is the GCC’s first menopause-centric hub, created to support women through perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause. Our mission is to make menopause easier to understand, talk about, and support across the region. We do this through expert-led education, credible women’s health information, and open, stigma-free conversation. We are a free community that brings together women, healthcare experts, and workplace leaders to address menopause as a women’s health, well-being, and workplace issue, not something to be endured in silence. Through regular events, talks, and community sessions, we focus on:
• Menopause education and awareness
• Women’s health and wellbeing
• Workplace menopause awareness and support
• Community connection and shared experience

Every woman loves her hair.
It’s part of how we feel like ourselves, and watching it thin, shed, or lose its shine can feel deeply unsettling.

In your 40s, the hormones that support hair growth, thickness, and recovery begin to fluctuate. These internal shifts can show up as hair fall, dullness, and texture changes, even if your routine hasn’t changed.

Before stressing or trying quick fixes, the most helpful first step is understanding what’s happening inside your body. Blood tests such as thyroid (TSH), iron levels (ferritin, iron, TIBC), vitamins (D, B12, zinc), and hormones (FSH, estradiol, testosterone, DHEAS, prolactin) can offer valuable insight when reviewed with a doctor.

Alongside this, prioritising protein, sleep, hydration, and stress management creates the foundation your hair needs during this phase.

If this helped, save it and share it with someone who might need it too.

The Hub’s Day Out 🎶✨

We’re heading out together to REW!ND Festival at Bla Bla Dubai, an iconic 80s and 90s music festival filled with legendary artists and all-day retro anthems.

It’s a chance to enjoy the music, sing along to familiar favourites, and soak up the energy of a great live festival atmosphere. Big songs, throwback moments, and plenty of dancing if the mood strikes.

The lineup includes Marc Almond, Nik Kershaw, Soul II Soul, Heaven 17, Go West, Jason Donovan, and more. If those names bring back memories, you already know this will be a fun one.

If you fancy joining us, grab your ticket and meet us there.
For on-the-day updates on where the Hub group will be, our WhatsApp community is the easiest way to stay connected.

🎟️ Tickets are purchased individually from the vendor.(https://blabladubai.ae/rewind/).

Belly fat during menopause is often misunderstood.

Many women are told to eat less, work out more, or “try harder”, when in reality, hormonal changes during menopause affect how the body stores fat, manages stress, sleeps, and uses energy.

This is why doing the same things that worked before may no longer feel effective.
Not because you’re doing something wrong, but because your body is responding to a new phase.

Understanding what’s happening is the first step toward supporting yourself with more compassion and less blame.

If you’re navigating these changes and want a safe space to talk, ask questions, and learn from trusted experts and women going through the same thing, our free community is always open.
