Sometimes the overwhelm hits and the only thing your brain wants is OUT.
Not a drink. Not a meltdown.
Just… another world.
I get it.
Yesterday I had a full to-do list, and instead of doing anything, I disappeared into a book about elves for two hours. It felt soothing, comforting and also like a very classic Pisces move.
This is the thing people forget:
We all have Pisces somewhere in the chart.
And when that part of your chart feels overloaded, escapism gets louder.
Books, binge-watching, daydreaming… it’s all the same energy.
It’s not “bad,” but it’s a sign.
Here’s the distinction to notice:
Is it rest, or is it avoidance?
Because one refills you.
The other drains you slowly without you realising.
Pisces shadow isn’t here to punish you it’s showing you where your boundaries dissolve, where you get lost, and where you need grounding.
If you’re noticing this pattern in your own life, tell me in the comments:
What’s your current escape bubble? Books? TV? Fantasy?
And if you want to understand *your* Pisces placement the house, the aspects, and what this escapism is trying to tell you:
