Helpful Hint, Tapping the Collarbone

Have you ever noticed how your body holds tension when you feel anxious or overwhelmed?

A simple way to calm your nervous system is by gently tapping the points just below your collarbone.

These points are connected to the Kidney meridian which supports grounding, safety and energy flow.
When tapped rhythmically, they help release stored stress and bring you back to balance.

Why it works:
• Sends soothing signals through the vagus nerve, shifting your body out of fight and flight.
• Activates the parasympathetic nervous system, supporting relaxation and calm.
• Helps energy move freely again so you can feel centred and steady.

Try this:
Place two or three fingers below your collarbone and gently tap both sides.
Take a slow breath in through your nose and exhale softly through your mouth.
Notice your chest soften, your breath deepen, and your mind quieten.

In kinesiology, we can use vibrational test kits as a way to assess how the body is functioning on a deeper level. These kits contain vials or samples that hold the energetic frequency of different substances such as nutrients, hormones, toxins, foods or even emotions.

When combined with muscle testing, they allow us to see how the body responds to these frequencies. A muscle that unlocks or weakens indicates that the substance is creating stress or imbalance in the system. A strong response suggests the body is in harmony with it.

This process helps us move beyond treating symptoms, instead identifying the underlying causes of imbalance. From there, we can give some corrections techniques to help support the body’s needs to restore balance and improve overall wellbeing.

Did you know that taking just 10 slow, deep belly breaths a day can calm your nervous system, reduce stress hormones like cortisol and help you feel more centred?

When we’re stressed, we tend to breathe quickly and shallowly into our chest which keeps our body in “fight or flight” mode. By shifting your breath down into your belly, you signal safety to your body, allowing it to relax and restore.

Next time you feel overwhelmed, try placing your hand gently on your stomach and breathing slowly in through your nose, letting your belly rise. Exhale gently out through your mouth, letting your shoulders soften. Repeat 10 times and notice the shift.

It’s been awhile so i thought I would re-introduce myself…

I’m Amy.

I’m a proud mum of five (ages 5 to 17), a lover of coffee and someone who finds joy in lifting heavy weights and keeping active. But most of all, I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves through kinesiology.

My journey into this work started with my own healing. For years, I lived with anxiety, overthinking and overwhelm this felt like having 100 computer tabs open with none of them able to close. On top of that, when my marriage of 10 years ended, I was left questioning my selfworth, confidence and ability to move forward.

Kinesiology gave me the tools to heal those wounds, rebuild my confidence and create a stronger relationship with myself. It reminded me that we don’t need to be perfect, we just need to keep showing up for ourselves with compassion and courage.

Now, my mission is to empower others to do the same. I want to help people release the weight of negative thoughts, step away from old patterns and create space for calm, clarity and self love.

Because when we learn to stand strong in who we are, we unlock the best version of ourselves.

The myth is that low energy means you’re lazy, unmotivated or not trying hard enough.

The truth is that energy dips are often your body’s way of showing something deeper is out of balance. Whether it’s stress, emotions or even the way your nervous system is holding tension.
