G R O W T H🪴 is not a linear process, it comes in all forms and sometimes it can’t be seen by others. You may have grown in the way you view yourself and the world. Perhaps you have become less judgemental or critical toward yourself/others. Maybe you have achieved a big milestone 🌻
Hindsight is a beautiful thing, usually day by day nothing seems to drastically change. However, when we reflect on who and where we were a year ago everything is different.
Celebrate the little things, remember there was once a time you wished for all the things you have now 🤍

~ Earth Mandalas ~ from today’s session with Adelaide Botanic High 🍁

Creating an earth mandala can be a powerful activity that allows you to deeply connect to the beauty and abundance of nature. Every mandala you create will be entirely unique to the environment around you and the season that you are in. It can be a way to thank the earth for all that she provides. A practice that is an expression of your creativity.

We were only allowed to forage items that had already fallen to the earth 🌎 the group did such a good job, I loved reflecting and seeing all of those groovy designs.

The word mandala is a Sanskrit term that means “circle” and in fact a mandala is a circular structure with a design that radiates out symmetrically from a unifying center. It is one of nature’s most perfect configurations.

What a beautiful time exploring the Adelaide botanic gardens, taking big breaths and soaking up all the green goodness 🍃

Term 4 ✨

After a wonderful holiday break we are back in action and in full swing.
In the term 4 program there is an emphasis on Lunar & Solar thinking 💭 this is where we think outside of the square, more ideas, to think without judgement and to be playful with our thought patterns. Letting go of the need to always speak from a ‘logic’ mind. From these Lunar ideas we ground for more creative colourful Solar thinking solutions, these are structured/analytical responses that we choose from our lunar thoughts.
Thoughts that fire together, wire together so it’s a great way to shake up the pathways in our minds 🧠
By the end of the term we will have our:
• Person Mantra
•Our own Mission statement
• A completed 30, 60 & 90 day plan to implement the positive practices we learn together into our every day lives
•Channelling our creativity for a more playful everyday
• Conquered 9 weeks of pranayama, meditation, yoga and gratitude/reflection practice

So excited to end the year with these incredible teens 🕺🏼 let’s get it.

Today was my first in person session at Adelaide Bonanic High. I am so humbled to be involved in this institute. Adelaide botanic is leading in their approach to education.
They don’t apply the general way of teaching subjects. Adelaide botanic have adapted the STEM approach, which is science, technology, engineering, and math. These are all areas of learning that kids need to be comfortable with to excel in the future. STEM makes creators, thinkers, problem solvers, doers, innovators, and inventors.
There were 22 girls that actively chose to participate in the 13 week wellness program as apart of their in studio program.
I can’t wait to explore all things mindfulness with this group 🤍🌱
Holistic HeadMaster is now running in two schools and two organisations on a term contract basis.
I love seeing this passion project grow, teaching life empowering tools to school students to empower their futures. We all have the power to create change 🧠 🧬

Teen Yoga is back on for free in the Youth Space next Monday from 4pm - 5pm (doors open from 3.30pm).

We have some yoga mats to give away for any new young people that come.
