Based in South Australia, RIHA Industries is a trusted manufacturer of advanced healthcare machinery, serving hospitals worldwide with innovative, tailored solutions. The first is to reduce workplace injuries caused by pushing heavy objects such as carts, trolleys, or hospital beds around manually. The second objective is to devise a way of connecting our battery powered machines to nearly any global available bed, stretcher, or trolley. Since our founding, we have focused exclusively on developing and improving bed and trolley movers to create a system that is easy to use and proven to reduce, if not eliminate, workplace injuries. Today, hospitals throughout Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and Europe, use RIHA Industries devices for patient transfers and moving of other heavy-wheeled equipment. We understand the acute care hospital environment and what is important for efficiency and reducing workplace injuries. During 2012 we launched the StaminaLift TS5000 patient transfer system for the global acute care hospital community. Universally compatible, the StaminaLift TS5000 works with most globally available hospital beds and stretchers. Hospital staff like driving the smooth dual drive system, appreciate the tight turning circle, but most of all, they like that the TS5000 is ready to move just about any bed or stretcher they can find. Our products are quality driven, designed, fabricated, and assembled in our workshop in Adelaide, Australia. Manufacturing local enables us to adapt our fabrication processes to the highest standards, provide custom-tailored engineering solutions resulting in customer satisfaction. RIHA Industries with its product range and capability of custom-tailored solutions is considered unrivalled and the leading supplier for hospital bed movers worldwide.

A proud way to close out the year.

Just in time for our Christmas shutdown, we’ve completed the final 10 StaminaLift 5000 Transfer Systems for 2025 — a milestone that wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our team.

These units are equipped with:
• Integrated battery charger
• Lithium battery technology
• Our new adaptable jaw system, developed to improve compatibility, usability, and real-world performance

With tight timelines and year-end pressures, our production team went the extra mile — including putting in overtime — to ensure these machines were finished, tested, and ready for shipment to Europe before the break. That commitment and pride in workmanship truly reflects the culture we’re building at RIHA Industries.

To our employees: thank you for your hard work, flexibility, and professionalism. Your effort ensures that hospitals and healthcare staff around the world receive equipment they can rely on every day.

Successful Implementation of the StaminaLift TS6000 at Caboolture Hospital 🚑✨

We’re proud to share another real-world success story featuring the StaminaLift TS6000 — this time at Caboolture Hospital, where a unique structural challenge called for a smarter solution.
The hospital’s new build connects to the existing facility via a 7-degree ramp, which quickly became a safety risk during manual bed transfers. Despite investing in other bed mover brands, the equipment struggled with the incline and couldn’t deliver the control, stability, or power required for safe patient transport.
That’s where the StaminaLift TS6000 stepped in.

During the trial, the TS6000 handled the ramp effortlessly and with absolute precision, giving the Birthing Unit the confidence and capability to safely transport future patients from their birthing suites to theatre — without strain, hesitation, or risk.
This implementation is a strong reminder of why equipment trials are essential before committing to any solution. Every hospital has its own environment, terrain, and workflow challenges, and only a hands-on demonstration can prove whether a device is truly fit for purpose.
