Today is World Mental Health Day and we want to encourage everyone to get out and about and connect with your community.

Keeping our feet healthy is important as it allows us to continue to be active. We know that staying active and getting plenty of exercise is important in keeping our spirit strong. Connecting to Country and Community are both ways that we can keep our spirit strong and be healthy for our mob. If your feet are hurting you, it's important to get the health clinic quickly, so that the podiatrist can help you to get back out and about with your family.

Having an amputation doesn't change the way we connect, it is important that we are all getting out and about and spending time with each other. Country will always know who we are.

Today is International Day of Older Persons!
Our Elders are an incredible asset in our community and today is a great reminder to reach out to Elders in your community, support them with some tasks or sit down with a cuppa.

Give your Elders a big hug today!

๐ŸŒ International Day of Older Persons ๐ŸŒ

Today on the International Day of Older Persons, we celebrate the wisdom, resilience, and lifelong contributions of older people in our communities.

At Meals on Wheels SA, we are proud to support thousands of older South Australians every single day. Our volunteers deliver much more than a meal - they bring care, friendship, and the reassurance of a regular check-in, helping people remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible.

Older people are the foundation of our families and communities. They have built the South Australia we enjoy today, and it is our privilege to give back through a service that values dignity, respect, and connection.

๐Ÿ’ Today we honour their stories, achievements, and ongoing role in our community.
