I visited Sweden recently and worked with a bunch of kind, intelligent, and creative people. I barely slept from my body not understanding the timezone or why it was dark at 3:30, but I had energy!
I was inspired, lifted up by positive people, and in awe of the magnificent surroundings. Another key factor was that I didnāt need my phone. I used my phone for photos, and to call home mainly. When I was in workshops we used pen on paper, markers on paper, and post-its galore. This allowed for our minds to expand and use our intuitive creativity that so ready flows when we let it. There are some things that tech just canāt replace; teamwork, human connection, joy, belly laughter, deep discussions, and intuition.
So, put the phone down.
Get your problems down on paper.
Talk with a human.
Laugh. Cry. Listen.
Be human.
