Child Well-being Program

Resilient Kicks was founded with the goal to promote child physical, social and emotional wellbeing and potential. Based on research and evidence the program involves a theory component which aims to promote social and emotional outcomes for children. The program innovatively incorporates this theory into sport and exercize activities to promote phsyical and social/emotional outcomes for children. Physical Activities have been developed by an experienced Accredited Remedial Therapist/Sports Trainer with the consult of the Social Worker to incorporate Psychologically beneficial exercise.

Resilient Kicks is offered as a group academy where children go through a program over several months, this program involves a theory component focusing on Social/emotional outcomes and a sports/exercize component.

The program has been developed by Peter Terminello, an Allied Health Professional, and accredited Counsellor, Remedial Therapist, Sports Trainer and Neuro-Linguistic Programmer. Peter has worked with Adelaide United, Adelaide 36rs and Metro Stars and in educational settings. The theory component focusing on Psychological Focused Strategies was developed by an Allied Mental Health Professional and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with experience in private practice and educational settings. All staff of Resilient Kicks are qualified Counsellors or Educators and work under the direction of the Allied Health Professionals.
