Here be some connection, communication, and confidence in one incredible shipwrecked weekend! 💬

Jess and Krystina had a fantastic time at the Variety - the Children's Charity of Queensland Motor Mouth Camp, supporting children and families who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

The camp brings together kids aged 6–17, their families, teachers, therapists, and AAC communicators for three days of fun, learning, and skill-building.

💙 Here’s our clinical Lobster (or is it a crab?) and Pirate (aka Jess and Krystina) with Claire, who uses a TD I-13!

🌟 What a day in Perth! 🌟

Our full-day TD Snap Workshop brought together an incredible group of professionals, educators, and therapists for a hands-on deep dive into TD Snap.

Led by Michael Brazil (Solutions Consultant, Tobii Dynavox Ireland) and joined by guest Bethany Diener, the session explored practical ways to support communication, learning, and independence across all ages and abilities.

Participants learned how to:
💡 Navigate TD Snap Page Sets and settings
📚 Explore features beyond AAC (Visual Supports, Books, YouTube & more)
🧩 Use implementation resources and measure success
🏫 Apply TD Snap in classrooms and everyday life

What’s a moment that’s stuck with you in your OT journey?

'Having been an OT for more than 18 years now, many moments have stuck with me. But recently, a man who was told that his physical challenges meant that eye gaze wouldn't work for him, had the opportunity to try our eye gaze device, and I was able to witness that it not only worked - but the happiness in his expression as he was given control over something again. '

What do you love most about being an OT at Link Assistive?
'I get the time and resources to really understand our products and how best to use them. This allows me to work with assessors to ensure that trials and implementation of devices goes as well as possible, and the people using the equipment get to use it to its full potential. I also think as OT's we are trained to use meaningful and purposeful activities, and working with technology allows us to work towards goals such as being able to access social media, or video chat with friends and family, and these are incredibly meaningful to people in a modern digital world.'
