It was a true honour for Dr Andrew Cheng and our COO, Karen O'Dea Morris, to celebrate the exceptional career and contributions of Dr Bruce W. Robinson.
Bruce’s professional journey has been defined by excellence, dedication, and service. As a specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon working in both South Australia and Victoria, he has cared for patients across Adelaide, South-East SA, and South-West Victoria since 1983 — ensuring access to high-quality surgical care in both metropolitan and regional communities.
His qualifications (B.D.S., B.Sc. Dent (Hons), M.D.S. (OMS)) speak to his clinical expertise, while his memberships with the Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the International Academy of Oral and Facial Rehabilitation reflect his standing within the profession.
Bruce has developed particular expertise in pre-prosthetic reconstructive surgery and dental implantology, always bringing a collaborative, patient-centred approach that has strengthened relationships with practitioners across the state.
Beyond his surgical excellence, Bruce has been a mentor, colleague, and friend to many. He has generously shared his knowledge, supported his peers, and led with professionalism, kindness, and humility.
We were proud to recognise the profound impact he has made — on his patients, on his colleagues, and on the standards of care in our field.
