Plum Village South Australia Central body for Plum Village Communities & Students of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh in South Australia

Plum Village South Australia (PVSA) is a central community body that advances the study and practice of mindful living in accordance with the teachings of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh and his Order of Interbeing. PVSA supports the cultivation of harmonious community building:
• Bringing practitioners together for events to cultivate peace and joy through mindfulness practice.
• Facilitating community networking and co-planning.
• Coordinating joint activities between communities, monastics, and individuals.
• Supporting existing communities, and the formation of new communities.

Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, "the father of mindfulness," was a monk, poet and peace activist (nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by Martin Luther King Jr) admired throughout the world for his powerful teachings and bestselling writings on mindfulness and peace. He has been a pioneer in bringing Buddhism and mindfulness to the West. There are over a thousand mindfulness practice communities in the Plum Village tradition.
