When we start to feel distressed, upset, stressed or anxious - we either travel to the past thinking about things that have happened or we transport to the future worrying about things that have not happened yet

Regardless we are not in the present moment - which is all we have right here right now

A key ability in maintaining mental health is to be able to bring yourself back to the present

Thank you to everyone who has supported my Counseling Practice over the past 9 years.
I’ve loved my work as it’s been a honour journeying with my clients.

I have decided to finish counseling and will no longer be seeing clients as of last week.
If you need support please continue to seek professional help from one of the many wonderful Counsellors or Psychologists.

I highly recommend everyone to read “Boundaries- when to say Yes and how to say No to take control of your life” by Christian psychologists Henry Cloud & John Townsend.
