Creator of all natural, locally hand made lavender based products. I love to live an active lifestyle and love being out in nature. I am an ultra-marathoner and love to unwind by switching off and spending my free time running the beautiful trails of the Great Southern region. I also believe in living a balanced life and definitely appreciate the benefits of relaxation and remedial massage, and this is how Unwind@Albany was born! Helping people is at the core of who I am. I have spent twenty two years as a Police Officer, and I now have the opportunity to combine my passion for health and fitness with my desire to help others through the magic that is massage. We only get one body, and I am here to help you take care of it. I am very excited to help you with whatever your goals are - whether that is the ultimate relaxation experience or preparing your body for your next athletic adventure, I will be here to create a personalised experience for your needs.

Unwind@Albany is back open this Wednesday.

I had an amazing time in the Snowy and Blue Mountains in New South Wales. I finished the 100 miler, experiencing every weather condition Mother Nature can conjure up, in the most beautiful location.

Unwind@Albany will be closed from the 22nd of November until the 9th of December whilst I’m away tackling the Ultra-trail Kosciusko 100miler run in New South Wales.

There are still appointments available in November and we will reopen on the 10th of December and appointments will be available leading into the festive season.

Recover Smarter, perform better.

After pushing your body through an endurance event or intense training, recovery is just as important as the performance itself. Along with massage another effective recovery tool is an ice bath.

Benefits of Ice Baths:
• Reduce muscle soreness - cold water helps minimise inflammation and muscle fatigue.
• Faster recovery - boosts circulation to help flush out waste products from your muscles.
• Mental resilience - builds focus and mental toughness (if you’ve tried one, you know it’s a challenge!)

You don’t need to own a fancy ice bath, just a normal bath and a few bags of ice in cold water works a treat.

Taking the time to recover means you can get back to doing what you love, stronger and sooner. Pair ice baths with regular massages, good nutrition, hydration, and rest, and you’re setting yourself up for long-term performance.
