Thanks Pat for a great life story interview today. From “10 pound pom” to Aussie beach babe, she’s an expert hairdresser, and loved by her family and friends alike!

Pat commissioned me to record her life story because there were stories she wishes she’d asked her own mum. She wanted to make sure that her own childhood tales were preserved for her children and grandchildren ❤️

I can’t express how wonderful this article is, and how it explains so eloquently the importance of recording the life stories of those we love. Particularly in the lead up to Mother’s Day where love, gratitude, presence, worry, loss or longing can combine into a lot of emotional, well, stuff.
