Interesting listening on the radio this morning. They were discussing the impact of chemicals on our hormones (AKA endocrine disrupters). The message was whilst some chemicals were showing not to cause cancer, there hasn’t been enough research into other issues they cause in our body. So things like soft plastic and pesticides and other chemicals Australia deems ‘safe’. They said we were even behind the USA in some instances where we allowed a higher threshold of these chemicals. So check your labels, remember it took decades to finally realise there was a direct link between smoking and cancer. You don’t know what you don’t know until you know it, but I’m playing it safe of this one so my family and I are not a statistics in decades to come. - -
