Competing in amateur bodybuilding ignited my passion for strength training, but it was overcoming my own health challenges that truly shaped my approach. I’ve experienced firsthand how movement can heal, empower, and bring clarity—even when progress feels slow. Now, I’m here to help others discover the joy of movement, no matter their starting point. At JB Flex & Flow, it’s not about chasing “perfect.” It’s about building strength, confidence, and resilience while honoring your body’s unique journey. ✨ As we wind down for the year, I just want to say… thank you 💛

To every one of you who made time for movement this year — through extreme sweat, wild weather, watching storm clouds roll in, and (let's be real) turning up on days you really didn’t feel like it — you’ve been the heartbeat of this space.

Whether we trained together 1:1, met in small groups, sweated it out with HIIT Box Step, PB45 or Full Body Blasts. Stretched online, or had a box & laugh whilst waiting for me to say "Okay relaxation time" — THANK YOU.

From powerhouse seniors to NDIS legends, to busy mums and quiet fighters, to first-timers and long-timers, men and women, teenagers and retirees… you’ve each brought your own magic.

Group fitness is for everyone — it just happens that my hubby is still the only bloke brave enough to tackle glute bridges with a room full of women 🤣💪 (Shoutout to you, Burnsee)

Your trust, your commitment (even the wobbly kind), and your willingness to try weird moves with weird names — it means the absolute world to me. Supporting your body, your mind, and your soul through movement is the thing that brings me the deepest joy.

We officially close for the year after Wednesday Dec 18th, and I’ll be kicking off sessions again from January 19th. There may be the odd impromptu sweat & stretch pop-up… so keep your eyes peeled 👀

Until then — rest, laugh, eat the good stuff, and take a moment to honour everything you’ve carried and accomplished this year.

It’s easy to get caught in the “do all the things” energy this time of year — but even 10 minutes of movement or stillness can shift your whole day.

🌿 Try this:
Put on your fave Christmas song and stretch it out for 5 mins. Or grab a cuppa, breathe, and stare at the twinkly lights guilt-free.

💪 Expression of Interest — 2026 9:30am Classes for Young-at-Heart Seniors

Just because we’re over 50 doesn’t mean we’re ready for “falls prevention only” and slow-motion exercise.
Many of us are nowhere near done — and we want to stay strong, capable, confident, and active for as long as possible.

If you’re young at heart and interested in joining a small group of like-minded seniors who want to:

✨ feel stronger
✨ move better
✨ stay active and mobile
✨ challenge the body just enough
✨ and have fun while doing it

…then we’re opening EOIs for a 2026 morning fitness group.
