Moon and Back Personal Training We are a supportive community encourages you to prioritise your health and well-being. I, have been running Moon and Back Personal Training since 2016.

Prior to working in the Fitness profession I worked as a Registered Nurse for 13 years in Paediatrics, Emergency, Travel Medicine and General Practise. The drive for my career change happened after my mum died suddenly of a heart attack at 56years of age. This increased my passion for educating and motivating people to prioritise their heart. With my nursing experience in mind I plan my fitness sessions with a holistic approach, taking the whole person into consideration, not just looking at the exercise. I work primarily with women and I am continually educating myself to ensure my clients can work at their own capacity. So far my biggest achievement would be the community and connection between people that I have managed to create. By having this supportive community and incorporating fun & play within the sessions I am able to help people stay fit and strong for life, both physically and mentally.

I feel like we are constantly bombarded with what we should and shouldn’t do around our health.

This can be overwhelming, confusing, maybe leave you feeling guilty or like a failure because you can’t do what you are “supposed” to be doing.

That’s why I have created this program to help you get back to basics, keep things simple and feel the power of small actions.

If you are willing to commit 2 yourself and join a small group for 6 weeks get in touch!!

I want to acknowledge that this time of year is not always easy for many people, for lots of different reasons.

Be kind to yourself.
Do something that you know will fill your cup.
Cry if you need to.
Have a laugh.
Get amongst nature.
Reach out for help if you need it.

About 3 months ago Sarah surprised herself and said YES to an opportunity she normally wouldn’t have said yes to!

A place came up with her friends to do a challenging hike in New Zealand and I absolutely loved that she had the CONFIDENCE to say YES!!

She said it was the hardest thing she has ever done, but she did it!!

And even better she had recovered well enough to do The Bloody Long Walk on Sunday .. just a lazy 35km!! (she had to pull out of the one earlier in the year due to sickness).

Sarah, I’m so pleased that the pain you had after your first strength session less then 6 months ago encouraged you to keep coming back!!

Do you ever take a PIT STOP throughout your day or week?

It could be taking a moment to be still and take notice of how you are breathing.

Maybe it’s a guided meditation.

Perhaps it’s getting some sand between your toes.

Or maybe it 2 mins of gentle, purposeful movement.

I BELIEVE PIT STOPS ARE ESSENTIAL IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR BATTERIES CHARGED.

We covered these 3 small moves in my online session this morning and one of the members couldn’t believe just how good they felt for her shoulders.

Small, purposeful movements = big changes
