1237 appointments have been booked this year, that is 1237 people I have injected and spoken to personally!!🤯

But it is so much more than that, patients have come in here and cried, laughed, felt excited, felt anxious, felt sad and felt happy, all whilst feeling comfortable enough with me to do so. And this is why I do what I do.

TO TOP UP OR NOT TO TOP UP?

I have had a lot of patients who are contacting me 5+ weeks post treatment for a “top up”. So let’s have a chat…

Wrinkle treatments top ups must be done 2-3 weeks after the initial treatment. No sooner, no later.

Masseters (jaw) and Hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating) are always reviewed at 4 weeks post treatment. The other areas are done at 2-3 weeks.

“Topping up” wrinkle products after the desired time can increase your risk of secondary resistance in the future. This is when your body forms antibodies against the product and it STOPS working completely. We encourage you to wait for full muscle movement to return to normal before having another treatment for the same reason.

Topping up before 2 weeks is dangerous, as the product has not fully kicked in yet, so adding more will increase your risk of lid/brow droops.

Does your travel affect when you can get cosmetic procedures?
The short answer is YES!

💉 Wrinkle Treatments- it is smart to do this 2-3 weeks before travel, to allow time for a 2 week follow up if needed. Although this isn’t necessary, wrinkle treatments can be done just before you leave (we prefer if don’t!)

💉 Any form of volumising/collagen treatments must be done 1-2 (minimum) before going away. This is due to the more serious complications that can occur and we don’t want you on a plane/on the other side of the world if you happen to experience a serious complication and need medical intervention.

We have a complete pre & post treatment check-list on our website, which we recommend familiarising yourself with before your appointment.

A little selfie because well…we aren’t allowed to post anything else 🤣🤷🏽‍♀️

The cosmetic injecting industry has undergone a lot to scrutiny and changes in the last 12 months (and it is still going) and because of these changes we are not able to post before and after photos, pricing or anything to do with the schedule 4 medications that we administer 🤔🫠

I would be lying if I said these changes haven’t hit home really hard and have taken a toll on my mindset but I am so so lucky to have such strong word of mouth referrals, a solid existing patient following and being surrounded by so many highly educated, talented injector friends.

My heart goes out to people are are just starting their injecting career and have no way of getting patients through the door, or business owners (like myself) who would like to expand their business and employ new injectors but unfortunately can’t show their work or promote the treatments therefore financial it just isn’t viable.

So although you may see a lot of cosmetic injectors who are quiet on social media, they may not be so lucky to be busy and are working their butts off to make it. Now more than ever it is so important to book that appointment, write a nice review (not referring to 💉), refer a friend or even just send a kind message to them 🫶🏽 because there is no doubt they probably need it!
