Love having windows to look out while I practice! There are a few ways to arabesque and here my feet are in turn out so I’m externally rotating from the thighs and bending my supporting knee. Make sure that you are switching your core on to avoid pressure in the lower back

How to Plié at the barre with heels lifted. Bring your feet into first position, try to follow your natural turn out, you don’t need to force your toes in opposite directions, a ‘V’ shape is fine. Lift the heels and press them together. Bend the knees following the directions of the toes and imagine you are sliding up and down a wall as opposed to sending the hips back and leaning forward. A great exercise for toning the legs and working on your balance

Ah back when I was carefree! Definitely not as flexible as when I was a kid, but nowadays I have a more rounded self practice where I’m focusing just as much on strength and alignment as I do on flexibility. Even if you can’t touch your toes, yoga is a great way to have better control of your body and feel good from the inside. Enjoy the rest of your week everyone!!

Do you ever get so tired you can’t even think of what to make for dinner? Next time try a homemade Poke Bowl. You can literally chuck anything on there. I tend to have most of these ingredients in my pantry/fridge in case I hit that evening dinner slump.
Pantry ingredients:
- Brown Rice/BlackRice
- Wasabi Peas
- Fried Onion
- Sesame seeds
Fridge/Freezer ingredients:
- Cabbage
- Shredded Carrot
- Sauerkraut
- Pickled Ginger
- Guacamole (leftover but worked so well)
- Kewpie Mayo
- Sesame Dressing
- Tofu
- Fried Mushrooms
- Edamame (frozen from an Asian grocer)

-Improves balance and strength
-Builds confidence
-Great way to energise
-So much fun
They don’t all have to be handstands but poses like Downward Facing Dog and Legs Up the Wall are inversions too!
