Staff Profile:
Dr Dean Rabinowitz is one of our principal radiologists. Dean has a strong interest in body MR/CT with extensive experience in chest, abdominal and urological imaging. He is accredited in CT coronary angiography/cardiac MRI and is one of the few skilled specialists offering contrast enhanced ultrasound in NSW.

Dean currently holds a staff specialist position at Prince of Wales Hospital (body imaging/oncology, cardiothoracic subspecialist role) and actively participates in chest, cardiac, abdominal and oncology clinical meetings. He is an executive member of ARGANZ, the peak interest group for abdominal imaging in Australia.

Dean is a conjoint lecturer at UNSW Clinical School and is passionate about teaching other medical professionals about imaging and how to achieve the best outcomes for their patients. He is a strong advocate of high-quality imaging/reporting and their equal access for all patients.

Dr Rabinowitz’s philosophy is to provide trust, integrity, and safety to his patients. His goal is to provide the best possible outcome to his patients within a timely manner. He is very professional, approachable, and willing to discuss any clinical findings with referring doctors and/or health professionals.

Staff profile:
Dr Paul Leong is one of our principal radiologists at Bankstown. He is a fellowship trained general radiologist with subspecialty interests in Chest and MSK imaging. He is considered a local expert in Chest CT reporting and is a principal participant in Lung MDT meetings at Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals.
Paul is also a skilled proceduralist, specialising in CT-guided spinal injections and US-guided MSK procedures. He is often requested specifically by patients for their procedures.
Dr Leong is dedicated to help Spectrum provide the best quality imaging services to patients in the Bankstown region. He is very approachable and is happy to discuss any queries with fellow health professionals and patients.

Staff profile:
Britt is our cheerful Head Radiographer. Britt and our talented multilingual team of CT Radiographers are experts in performing a wide range of Diagnostic Imaging studies including CT Coronary Angiograms, CT Enterographies as well as Gemstone Spectral Imaging (GSI). Britt and the team will always ensure that all patients are well looked after and receive the best quality imaging in a safe and comfortable environment.

Colina is our head secretary and one of the friendly faces you will see when you step into our practice. She is amazing at helping our patients organise their imaging appointments , and she is well known for going above and beyond to assist our patients . Colina is also a long suffering supporter of the Manly Sea Eagles and the Carlton Blues 😅

Staff profile:
Arsanie is our Head Sonographer and an integral part of the team at Spectrum Bankstown. He is highly skilled in all aspects of ultrasound with special interests in musculoskeletal and vascular imaging (including AV fistula assessment). Arsanie is passionate about the advancement of general ultrasound with particular interest in the growing role of fibroscans and contrast enhanced ultrasound. Arsanie stresses the importance of furthering the profession and sharing ultrasound knowledge, working as a sonography tutor for CQUniversity and presenting at point of care ultrasound conferences for emergency and critical care doctors. His friendly demeanour also manages to brighten the day of everyone he comes across

Thank you to all the local GPs who attended our fantastic education session yesterday evening. We are committed to working closely with our fellow medical professionals to improve patient care and outcomes . Thank you also to our radiologists Dr Dang Lam for his talk on breast imaging and Dr Shady Osman for his talk on Interventional Radiology procedures. Both talks were very well received ☺️
