We’ve been relocated at a room inside the building at Charles Sturt University that houses the gym and sports hall.(On Google Map : Charles Sturt University, 1220 Village Dr, Mitchell NSW 2795)

Please enter through the front entrance, continue straight, and you’ll find it as the first room on the left towards the back.

There are plenty of parking spaces around the building, and inside the facility you’ll find toilets and showers. You’re welcome to take a shower after your treatment if you’d like. (Please note that we do not provide shampoo or other toiletries.)

Do you find yourself feeling irritable lately? 🌱
It might be because spring has arrived.

In Oriental medicine(Eastern Medicine), it’s believed that everything happening in the world can influence both the body and our emotions. Spring is a wonderful season when the weather starts to warm and new life begins to bloom.
But with this seasonal shift, heat (Qi) in the body tends to rise upward, often making us more easily frustrated or quick to anger over things that normally wouldn’t bother us.

That’s why one of the recommended home care practices during this season is to help release that heat (Qi).
Gentle exercise—especially activities that use the legs—or lightly tapping under the armpits can help move Qi, calm the body, and ease the mind.

In Oriental medicine, the Liver is also seen as the organ that governs anger (note: this concept of the Liver is different from the Western medical definition).
Eating sour foods can support Liver function and help release excess heat (Qi) as well. 🍋

Most importantly, when you notice yourself feeling more irritable than usual, simply remind yourself: “Ah, it’s just spring.” Accept it, let it pass, and don’t blame yourself, others, or your environment.
It’s simply a natural seasonal tendency of the body. Instead, take a breath, stay calm, and allow yourself to relax. 🌿

Have you ever seen dry needling (acupuncture needle) enter the body?💉🪡

Acupuncture and dry needling use the same type of needles, the main difference being that dry needling targets muscles or trigger points to release muscle tension, while acupuncture targets acupressure points to balance the entire body.🏋️‍♀️

🌟Benefits of Dry needling🌟
💪Relaxes Muscles : Reduces muscle tightness and improves flexibility.
✅Reduces Pain : Eases discomfort by relieving pressure on pain-sensitive trigger points.
🧬Improves Blood Flow : Relaxed muscles may lead to better circulation in the treated area.
⚡️Regulates the Nervous System : Helps calm pain signals and promotes balance in the nervous system.
🤸‍♂️Increases Range of Motion : Improved muscle flexibility can enhance joint mobility and overall movement.

🔑Key Features of Dry Needling🔑
👍Low Risk of Side Effects : Dry needling is generally considered a safe treatment with few side effects. However, since the effectiveness depends on the practitioner’s knowledge and skill, it is important to choose an experienced professional.
⏰Fast-Acting : Some people feel immediate relief after the treatment, while for others, the effects may appear a few days later.
⌛️Long-Lasting Effects : The duration of relief varies from person to person, but the effects can last from several days to a few weeks.
💆‍♂️Can Be Combined with Other Therapies : Combining dry needling with exercise therapy or other physiotherapy techniques can enhance the overall treatment outcome.

⚠️Precautions⚠️
🤰If you are pregnant or have a bleeding disorder, please consult your doctor before receiving treatment.
🍺Dry needling is extremely dangerous when performed under the influence of alcohol.
