Archie The Playful Paws Therapy Dog Hello.... I'm Archie, a blue roan English Cocker Spaniel therapy dog. My full name is Bathgate Archie but everyone knows me as just Archie.

It's amazing how fast Mondays come around and Dad Warren and I headed off to visit my friends at Maddocks Gardens Aged Care, Bairnsdale Regional Health Service and Bairnsdale Regional Health Service Hospital. I am glad to see everyone I visited was in good spirits and happy to say hello. I was feeling a little tired today so managed to charm my way onto a very comfortable bed with an added bonus of a pat and cuddle. Speaking of cuddles, my next outing will be on Thursday to Playful Paws: Training & Wellness to share love and waggy tails to anyone who needs them....oooh yes!! and a Playful Paws Puppachino’s. This morning Dad Warren and I went to Playful Paws: Training & Wellness for a new and exciting weekly event for the Therapy Dogs to attend. We are there to give free hugs and I am just the dog for the task. Today I met Andy and Karen from Distinctive Options Noweyung in Bairnsdale. Free hugs are being offered to Emergency Service personnel, disability organisations and anyone else who just needs a cuddle. So, every Thursday at 10am, come along, have a chat and some time out, a cuddle and hug from me and fellow Therapy dogs and enjoy a snack and refreshment from Playful Paws Puppachino’s. As you can tell, I just love puppachinos.

Monday again and Dad Warren and I headed off to visit my friends at Maddocks Gardens Aged Care, Bairnsdale Regional Health Service and Bairnsdale Regional Health Service Hospital. I was lucky enough to receive a scratch on the back of my neck in just the right spot. My visits may give residents, patients and staff big smiles but they can never know how happy it makes me in return. I then found a bed which I really didn't want to leave because it was so comfortable but remembered I still had lots of areas to visit including checking in with the staff in the Aboriginal Health Unit. We are home now and might have a bit of a kip before I need to help Dad cut the lawns. This means my 2nd favourite thing in life is going to happen....Dad will get the garden blower out....I love it!! Till next time. Love Archie xxoo

Once Dad Warren got himself organised this morning we headed off to Maddocks Gardens Aged Care, Bairnsdale Regional Health Service and Bairnsdale Regional Health Service Hospital to catch up with all of my friends. I was so happy to see everyone's smiles. I have missed this during the holiday break. Now that we are home, Dad and I are resting up...me on his lap because I'm sure I qualify for lap-dog size. He keeps saying my big head is in the way and he can't see the scores. I don't know what the problem is. I can see the TV perfectly.😃 love Archie xxoo

This morning as usual on a Monday, Dad Warren and I headed off to Maddocks Gardens Aged Care, Bairnsdale Regional Health Service and Bairnsdale Regional Health Service Hospital. I think my riding Santa suit put huge smiles on everyone's faces which makes me so happy. Tomorrow, The Book Orchard is having a special event. If you are about, come along and say hello.
