🌿 NKT Insight of the Week! 🌿

I saw a client struggling with severely dry eyes, to the point where keeping her eyes closed—or even crying—was the only relief.

During NKT testing, we found something interesting:

She mentioned that when driving, she often has to tuck her chin down so her eyes look upward to cope.
When we tested her hip flexors:
• In isolation → weak
• Looking up → strong
• Looking down → even weaker

This told us her eye muscles and hip flexors were neurologically linked.

Further testing showed:
👁️ Tight superior oblique + inferior re**us eye muscles, which can restrict eyelid closure.
👄 Tight jaw + cranial muscles affecting the trigeminal nerve, which helps stimulate tear production.

Both of these issues can contribute to dry eye syndrome.

This is why those “little details” you notice in your body matter so much — they help us uncover the real pattern behind your symptoms.

Hey everyone! Just a quick heads-up — Tallagandra Road is currently closed for roadworks and will be for around six months.

To make your trip to Beenleigh Massage Therapy a smooth one, here are the best routes to use:
✨ From the Bethania exit — take Ridgevale Boulevard
✨ From Beenleigh/Logan — come via Teys Road → Peppertree Drive
✨ You can also use Dairy Creek Road

You can still access from Wuraga Road, but please note Tallagandra Road itself is closed.

Over the last few years I have been very depleted, lost my spark, gained loads of weight, been very sick with migraines and chronic fatigue.

Since receiving the right diagnosis and treatments , I feel the healthiest I’ve ever been.

The following gift has been stored away because I was too overwhelmed to create the space it deserved. I am now well enough to create it, so it will be on display in my healing room. I am deeply grateful for it. Thankyou so much 🙏

Korowai of the Healer – He Kākahu o te Rongoā

This korowai is more than a cloak — it is a woven story.

This korowai was lovingly gifted to me by my whānau. They researched the colours, meanings, and iwi connections, and my mother made the cloak.

The green feathers mark me as a healer, one who can connect deeply with the wairua (spirit) and energy of others.
Such feathers were worn by those gifted with the ability to restore balance and wellbeing.

Within its design, patterns pay tribute to our iwi, Ngāti Ruanui, and our hapū, Ngā Ruahine, as well as Te Maunga Taranaki standing watch over our people.

Ngā Ruahine were famed for their natural healing skills and their philosophical view of the world, carrying the knowledge of rongoā (traditional medicine) and the power of gentle wisdom.
Ngāti Ruanui were known for their mastery of agriculture, their courage in combat, and their strong leadership — traits that ensured the survival and prosperity of their people.

Wearing this korowai is to carry the spirit of both iwi and hapū — the healer’s touch, the warrior’s heart, and the leader’s strength — all bound together under the shadow of our mountain.

Burnout isn’t always about how much you’re doing…
Sometimes, it’s about how you’re thinking while you’re doing it.

We push ourselves to exhaustion—
not just because we’re busy,
but because deep down, we’ve been taught to believe:

“There’s not enough time.”
“I haven’t done enough.”
“I need to keep up.”
“I’ll rest when I’ve earned it.”

This is the scarcity mindset—the quiet belief that life is always just one step ahead of us, and we’re always behind.

But here’s the truth:
