At-Home Activities to Support Speech Sound Development

Everyday moments can make a big difference in helping your child develop clear and confident speech. 💬✨

📚 Read aloud together: choose age-appropriate books, talk about the pictures, and encourage your child to repeat words and phrases.

🎲 Play word games: try “I Spy” to highlight beginning sounds or rhymes with everyday items around the house.

🪞 Use a mirror: make funny faces and practise mouth movements together so your child can see and copy how sounds are made.

These small, playful interactions help build strong communication skills and turn learning into fun family time. 💜
