“What can I do when my emotions feel all over the place?”⁣



⁣⁣
Let’s try this:⁣

→ Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)⁣

It helps you chill out and take back control.⁣

Let’s dive in!...




1. First, get comfy in a quiet spot.⁣

You can sit or stand — whatever works best for you.⁣




2. Now, ask yourself:⁣

→ What’s really bothering me?⁣

Take a moment to reflect on that.⁣

Is it stress?⁣

Anxiety?⁣

Sadness?⁣

Just name your feelings.⁣

P.S. The Feelings Flower can help you 🙂




3. Now, ask yourself:⁣

→ On a scale of 0 to 10, how intense is this feeling?⁣


Just remember:⁣

→ 0 means you feel totally fine⁣

→ 10 means it’s really overwhelming⁣


Write it down if you want!⁣




4. Okay, now we need to create a setup statement.⁣

“A setup statement?
What’s that?

It’s a simple phrase to acknowledge what you’re feeling.⁣


For example, you can say:⁣

→ “Even though I feel really anxious about work, I deeply accept myself.”⁣




5. And now?⁣

Now just repeat your setup statement 3 times.⁣

It helps remind you that it’s okay to feel this way.⁣




6. Alright, now for the interesting part.⁣


Stick with me.⁣..


Using your fingertips, gently tap on these points while saying your setup statement.⁣

(In this order)⁣


1. Top of the Head⁣
↳ Tap on the top center of your head⁣

2. Eyebrow⁣
↳ Tap on the inside edge of one eyebrow⁣

3. Side of the Eye⁣
↳ Tap next to the outside edge of one eye⁣

4. Under the Eye⁣
↳ Tap on the bone underneath one eye⁣

5. Under the Nose⁣
↳ Tap between your nose and your upper lip⁣

6. Chin⁣
↳ Tap between your lower lip and your chin⁣

7. Collarbone⁣
↳ Tap beneath one collarbone (find the notch)⁣

8. Under the Arm⁣
↳ Tap under one armpit (about 10 centimeters or 4 inches below)⁣


Got it?⁣


As you tap each point, say your setup statement:⁣

→ “Even though I feel really anxious about work, I deeply accept myself.”⁣




7. Okay, now we’ve tapped through all the points.⁣

And now?⁣

Just take a deep breath.⁣

Try to feel how your body responds.⁣




8. Now ask yourself again:⁣

→ On a scale of 0 to 10, how intense is this feeling?⁣

Has the intensity gone down?⁣

It’s okay if it hasn’t changed much.⁣

Just repeat the process if you need to.⁣




And that’s it!

mentally fit and resilient enough to cope with the top 10 most stressful life events for Australian adults?⁣


"What are the most stressful life events for Australian adults Ash", you ask?⁣

1. Death of a loved one - The unexpected loss of a close family member or friend is one of the most traumatic experiences and often leads to severe emotional distress.⁣

2. Divorce or separation - Relationship breakdowns are a major source of stress, particularly when they involve legal and custody battles.⁣

3. Serious illness or injury - Facing a severe health crisis or injury, whether personally or within the family, is highly stressful.⁣

4. Financial problems - Issues such as significant debt, bankruptcy, or job loss contribute heavily to stress levels.⁣

5. Job loss or unemployment - Losing a job or experiencing prolonged unemployment can lead to financial insecurity and stress.⁣

6. Moving house - Relocating, especially when it involves significant distance or a change in lifestyle, is a major source of stress.⁣

7. Natural disasters - Events like floods, bushfires, or other natural disasters can cause significant emotional and financial strain.⁣
