"What are the most stressful life events for Australian adults Ash", you ask?
1. Death of a loved one - The unexpected loss of a close family member or friend is one of the most traumatic experiences and often leads to severe emotional distress.
2. Divorce or separation - Relationship breakdowns are a major source of stress, particularly when they involve legal and custody battles.
3. Serious illness or injury - Facing a severe health crisis or injury, whether personally or within the family, is highly stressful.
4. Financial problems - Issues such as significant debt, bankruptcy, or job loss contribute heavily to stress levels.
5. Job loss or unemployment - Losing a job or experiencing prolonged unemployment can lead to financial insecurity and stress.
6. Moving house - Relocating, especially when it involves significant distance or a change in lifestyle, is a major source of stress.
7. Natural disasters - Events like floods, bushfires, or other natural disasters can cause significant emotional and financial strain.
