A 'wonderful' testimonial from our local Hospital Children's Department.
Dear Kerry,
We have been using the MyOki heat/wheat bags in our CASEA Child Group Program with a number of children over the past term. There have been two children who have found these particularly helpful. Both children had sensory processing difficulties and needed a weighted item to help get their alert levels just right. We had trialled another weighted item, but they did not like using it. I really do think that it was the soft texture of the Myoki (along with the weight) that made the difference. Both children are about to have Autism Spectrum Disorder assessments and find the classroom setting very difficult to tolerate. The parent of one child was planning to purchase a Myoki heat/wheat back for her daughter having seen the difference it made for her.
