Tech Together is looking for a Volunteer in 2026! (Bendigo)
I’m looking for a flexible, reliable volunteer to help support the growing programs at Tech Together, a social enterprise that runs LEGO groups, Minecraft sessions, gaming & tech groups, and electronics workshops for neurodivergent young people.
This would ideally suit someone who is:
- A university student in teaching, OT, speech pathology, psychology, youth work, social work, etc.
- Enjoys working with children and young people
- Friendly, patient, and great at creating calm, supportive environments
- Willing to learn and interested in neurodiversity
- Keen to get real-world experience (and possibly move into paid work in the future)
What you’ll do:
Support small social groups (ages 8–25 depending on session)
Help create a welcoming, pressure-free environment
Assist with LEGO activities, Minecraft, basic electronics, and tech projects - you don't need to be an expert, the participants can be great teachers themselves!
Light setup/pack-up
Be an extra friendly face participants can rely on
Time commitment is flexible — even 1–2 hours per week is helpful.
If you’re a student wanting experience, or someone who simply loves tech, creativity, and supporting young people, I’d love to hear from you.
