Remembrance Parks Central Victoria

Remembrance Parks Central Victoria Preserving your memories, providing compassionate services, and planning for your future. Also available is the pre-purchase of a cremation service.

Memorials are stepping-stones to the past, and to the future - they link the generations. The friendly staff at Remembrance Parks Central Victoria (RPCV) can assist you to ensure the memories of a loved one live on. Memorials are a practical way of providing a focal point for family, friends and others. Memorials may be as modest or as extravagant as you decide or feel the deceased would wish. RPCV offers the opportunity to pre-purchase a Right of Interment for a monumental or lawn site or a memorial for cremated remains. RPCV offers the opportunity to select the exact site of a final resting place.

🌺 On Remembrance Day, we pause at the 11th hour to honour the courage and sacrifice of all who served in times of war, conflict, and peacekeeping. It is a moment of silence that carries deep respect across generations.

At RPCV, we recognise the weight of remembrance for many families in our community. Today, and always, we hold them in our thoughts with gratitude. Lest we forget.

On Ancestor Appreciation Day, we pause to honour the lives, sacrifices, and stories of those who came before us. Their values and traditions continue to shape who we are today.

Whether by sharing family stories, visiting a resting place, or spending a moment in quiet reflection, today offers an opportunity to give thanks and feel connected to our roots. 🌿

Walking through the historic grounds of Melbourne General Cemetery, you see thousands of memorials, each telling a unique story of a life lived. But what is the purpose of a memorial?
It is more than just a name and date; it's a place for the living. A physical touchstone for memories, a focal point for grief, and a legacy for future generations to connect with their family's story.
Having a dedicated place to visit, reflect, and remember can be a profound source of comfort on the journey of grief.

🕊 The International Day of Peace invites us to reflect on the importance of kindness, understanding, and unity in our daily lives. This year’s theme reminds us that peace often begins with small, simple acts of care.

At RPCV, we recognise how precious peace can be—especially for those finding comfort in remembrance. May today inspire us all to hold peace in our hearts and extend it gently to others. 🌿
