On Saturday morning around 350 of us stood in tree pose in Stirk Park in Kalamunda to break the world record of the most number of people in tree pose, and also to bring awareness to the issue of our old growth Jarrah forests in the south-west of Australia being destroyed for bauxite mining. These are one of the most bio-diverse habitats on Earth and many of the flora and fauna here are unique and critically endangered. Thanks to Carrie, Cath, Darryl and Trere for hanging out with me. No pics of the actual pose as we were all a bit busy 😊. Well done to the Wilderness Society for organising this event and bringing awareness to this important issue.
