🪷 Dincharya Step 7: Gandoosha (Oil Pulling) 🌿

After cleansing the bowels, it’s time to nourish and protect your oral cavity.

Gandoosha is the Ayurvedic practice of holding a medicinal fluid in the mouth, without swishing, until secretions from the nose and eyes indicate detoxification. When the fluid is swished or moved, it is called Kabala (Gargling).

🌿 For Gandoosha: Use sesame or coconut oil daily, ghee or milk for burning, honey for ulcers, warm salt water for Kapha, Dhānyāmla for bad breath, and warm water for lightness.

✨ Benefits of Gandoosha:
✔️ Strengthens the jaws, chin, teeth, and facial muscles
✔️ Improves taste perception and appetite
✔️ Heals dryness, cracked lips, shaky teeth, receding gums, and bad breath
✔️ Useful in conditions like facial paralysis, stammering, and tongue weakness
✔️ Prevents oral diseases, improves sense organs, and supports overall head health

🌿 Make Gandoosha a gentle yet powerful part of your morning ritual.

Your mouth is the entryway to your health — cleanse it with care.

🪷 Dincharya Step 6: Mal Tyaga (Mindful Bowel Movement) 🌿

After completing your Step 5 Jala Pāna (drinking a glass of water), allow your body time to naturally initiate bowel movement.

Do not suppress the urge to eliminate. This disturbs the Vata dosha and can lead to issues such as constipation, abdominal bloating or distension, hiccough, headaches, and chest or heart discomfort.

🌸 Mindful Bowel Movement Tips:
- Wait calmly after water intake — give your body time
- Sit in a squat position to aid complete elimination
- Never force or delay the urge
- Choose a clean and private place
- Try to establish a regular morning routine

✨ Elimination is a natural detox process. Stool removes solid waste, urine removes liquid waste — both are essential for internal balance.

🌿 Respect the urge. Respect the rhythm. Māl Tyāga is not just a routine, but a practice of harmony with your body.

🌀 Dincharya Step 5: Jala Panam (Drinking water)🌿

Afer brushing your teeth and cleansing your tongue, drink one glass of water kept overnight preferably warm.

💡 Pro Tip: Drink your water in a squat positon. This posture gently compresses the digestive tract, helping to activate bowel movements more efficiently.

🌸 Benefits of Morning Water Drinking:

• Supports healthy and regular elimination

• Encourages bowel consistency and prevents constipation

• Detoxifies the system naturally

• Helps manage conditions like cough, asthma, headaches, urinary issues, and more

• Builds a natural rhythm for your body to follow

✨ Many people rely on tea or coffee to "get things moving," but that often leads to dependency.

Water, especially when combined with the right posture, stimulates digestion without overstimulating your system.

Rise early. Squat low. Sip slow.

Let your body awaken the way nature intended.

🌀 Dincharya Step 4: Jeeva Nirlekhana (Tongue Scraping) 🌿

After brushing your teeth, cleanse your tongue gently with a tongue scraper—made from silver, gold, brass, stainless steel, or even a smooth plant stick.

Make sure the scraper is smooth and not sharp, to avoid injuring your tongue. Always wash it well before and after use.

🌸 Benefits of Tongue Scraping:
👉 Removes impurities settled on the tongue
👉 Enhances your sense of taste
👉 Eliminates bad breath naturally
👉 Brings a feeling of lightness and freshness to your mouth

✨ Make tongue scraping a simple yet powerful part of your daily Ayurvedic ritual for a fresher, cleaner mouth and balanced wellbeing.

🪥 Dincharya Step 3:
Danta Dhavanam (Brushing Teeth) 🌿

Brushing your teeth isn’t just hygiene - it’s an Ayurvedic ritual that supports full-body wellness. 🕉️
Clean your teeth every morning and evening using Ayurvedic tooth powder or herbal sticks made from potent herbs like Neem, Khadira, Arjuna, and Karanja—known for their bitter, pungent, and astringent properties.

You can also use a blend of dry ginger, black pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, and natural salt for a revitalising cleanse.

⚠️ Be gentle on the gums. And if you’re experiencing ulcers, cough, or throat conditions—opt for warm water rinses instead of brushing.

🌸 Benefits of Danta Dhavanam:
Removes dirt and toxins from teeth, gums & tongue
Improves digestion by enhancing taste and appetite
Eliminates bad breath and oral discomfort
Promotes mental clarity and freshness

🌿 Dincharya Step 2: Mukha Kshalanam (Washing Face) 🌿

Start your day with a sacred Ayurvedic ritual—Mukha Kshalanam, or washing the face—to awaken, cleanse, and balance your energy for the day ahead. 🕉️✨

Use Triphala Water: For enhanced benefits, cleanse your face, eyes, nose, and mouth with water infused with Triphala—a time-tested blend of Amla, Haritaki, and Bibhitaki. Triphala water deeply purifies, gently nourishes, and promotes skin and eye health from the very first splash.

💧 Tip: In colder seasons, use lukewarm Triphala water to help balance Vata and Kapha doshas.

⚠️ Be gentle—especially around the eyes. Avoid strong force. Gentle care is key. 👁️💦

🌸 Benefits of Washing with Triphala Water:
- Removes toxins and impurities that accumulate overnight
- Refreshes the skin and awakens the senses
- Supports healthy vision and soothes tired eyes
- Enhances natural skin clarity and glow
- Helps reduce dryness, acne, and discoloration
- Balances doshas and calms skin conditions

🌞🧘‍♀️ Make Triphala Water a daily part of your self-care ritual—rooted in ancient wisdom, crafted for modern well-being.

Start your mornings with clarity, balance, and a glowing face—naturally.
