Ibis Care and the Women’s Resilience Centre have a new strategic partnership in place to give our female workforce support and resources.

James Carter, Interim CEO of Ibis Care explains that in an industry with 86% of the workforce being female, he finds it incredibly important to support them as people not simply as staff.

“The challenges that women may face in the community are not isolated to their lives outside of work. We understand the impact that these issues can have in their working life."

“Programs such as the the Free Recovery Program and Mentoring by the Women’s Resilience Centre are great supports for women."

This week Ibis Care will be raising funds at our community Fashion Parade event for the important work of the Women's Resilience Centre, and Ibis Care have committed to matching donations from the event!

Residents at Ibis Care Bexley celebrated Halloween in hauntingly joyful style! The venue was transformed into a festive fright zone, complete with eerie decorations, glowing pumpkins, and cobwebs galore, setting the perfect scene for a day of spooky delight.

Witches, wizards, ghosts, and ghouls filled the room with laughter, music, and dancing. Everyone joined in the fun, sharing delicious Halloween treats and showing off their costumes with pride.

Residents and families at Ibis Care Mortdale, celebrated Brazil’s Independence Day in true festive style!

The celebration kicked off with a delicious Brazilian BBQ, bringing everyone together over great food and laughter. A dazzling dance performance followed, featuring our Leisure & Lifestyle team alongside a professional Brazilian dancer.

Staff trained in authentic dance steps added flair and energy to the show! The music was contagious, residents and families joined in, turning the day into a vibrant community celebration full of dancing, smiles, and festive spirit.
