Playful Discoveries is exploring the possibility of starting a ‘New Mothers Group’ for first-time mums and their babies aged 0–9 months here in the Blayney area 🤍

This group would be designed as a gentle, welcoming space for new mums to connect, share, and feel supported during those early months of motherhood 🌱

Before we move ahead, we would love to hear from our community:

We’d love your feedback on:
❔Would you be interested in attending a New Mothers Group?
❔What time would work best?
❔What would you like to see included in the group?

Possible focus areas may include:
🍃Connection with other first-time mums
🍃 Coffee, tea and snacks (essential for those breastfeeding mums iykyk)
🍃Informal chats and shared experiences
🍃Gentle baby play and bonding activities
🍃Guest speakers (e.g. child health, wellbeing, feeding support)
🍃A calm, supportive space to ask questions and feel heard

🥪🌱 National Lunchbox Week at Playgroup 🌱🥪

This week at playgroup, we are proudly linking our experiences with National Lunchbox Week and using the Picnic Project resources to support families with practical, healthy food ideas for young children 🍎

Throughout our playgroup session, children and families will be supported to explore healthy eating in a relaxed, play-based way, helping to build positive habits early.

Healthy habits start early, and small changes can make a big difference. We look forward to sharing this focus with our playgroup families and continuing to support children’s wellbeing together 🧡
