What a way to celebrate the year we have had at Carinity Fassifern Community Centre. With over 85 in attendance at our annual Community Christmas Lunch, we were able to enjoy great food, great company and great memories from the year.

A huge shout out to all our staff, volunteers and community members for the lasting impact you all have in our community.

Carinity Fassifern Community Centre are very grateful for amazing organisations like the Lions Club.

This year they have generously donated their famous Christmas cakes to be added to our goodies for our Christmas Giftcards/Hampers this year.

With only 7 sleeps to go, over the next week you will get to Meet our Stars as we countdown to our Kalbar Community Carols next Sunday 14th December.

We would like to acknowledge our very own Fassifern Salvos Church for all your efforts each year organising and running such an event.

This year there is a fabulous line up of special guests, performers, carols singing, Christmas poems & readings, children’s segment, Santa and much more.

We are also grateful for the behind-the-scenes workers like our tech team, decorations team, setup team and planning committee.

Come along to our carol’s night as a way of thanking everyone for what they do to bring the message of Christmas to our community.

Each year, the Carinity Fassifern Community Centre are delighted to be able to support the work of U3A in Boonah. They have several groups active in Fassifern area, some of which happen right here at the Centre.

Recently, at their Annual General Meeting, our Centre was presented with some flowers, along with a donation earlier in the year as a way of saying thank you for our continued support of the U3A program.

All our staff, volunteers and community members who access our Centre are very grateful for amazing organisations like QCWA Boonah.

Once again, QCWA Boonah and the Fassifern Community Centre are partnering together this Christmas to bring a little hope to those in need. QCWA Boonah Branch have very generously donated IGA gift cards along with a lovely card/message to be given out as our Christmas Hampers this year.

Not only do they do an incredible job week in and week out providing this space for all our bingo attendees, but they have still come in on their special day to put others first.
