Last week we thanked and celebrated the year that was with the Coaches and Staff Christmas Mystery Day!

Along the way we stopped into some local spots for some shopping, thanks to Dolcettini Patisserie and Warrah Society Farm shop for having us!

We then had a go at some bowls at Dural Country Club! Let's just say we are better at RDA then bowls!

Not all of the team could join us but they are never far from our thoughts. It takes a village and at times we may be like ships passing and we are grateful for their individual contributions to provide stability to the programs and the Centre!

Looking forward to what comes of 2026 with everyone back on deck!

CONGRATULATIONS ARE IN ORDER!!
We would like to take a moment to congratulate 4 of our amazing participants, who have received awards this year!
Julia and Macy have been awarded with the 2025 “Bill Harvey Most Improved” rider awards. They have both worked tirelessly to improve their riding skills and most importantly, love their horses!
Carli and Mitchell have been awarded “Encouragement” awards for showing determination and willingness to learn new things!
Well done to these amazing participants and all others who have engaged in programs with us throughout the year. You all make us so wonderfully proud 💜
We love what we do, because of you!

Tonight we would like to congratulate Layla for being named Tall Timbers Rider of the Year for 2025!

Starting in our Tots program at just 3 years of age Layla has achieved many goals during her time at TT but 2025 has seen her grow into whole new person with a new attitude & mindset.
The year started with a new horse ‘Mister’ who proved quite the challenge in the beginning, Layla needed to find both physical & mental strength to guide him away from both the coach & the gate!
While working hard to learn to understand Mister the practice for mounted games & dressage began. While previously having competed at State mounted games & keen to do so again Layla was also set on competing in the state dressage championships for the first time. So with lots of grit & determination Layla embarked on a hectic 3days of competition at SIEC, competing in mounted games, sporting & the dressage championships, coming home with Grade 1 junior dressage champion & Mister winning the SIEC trophy for best RDA centre based horse all on her first ever time riding in the SIEC indoor!
Despite all her competition success, term 4 is where we saw Layla shine, culminating her biggest achievement yet. Over the last 8wks Layla broke through her long term fear of trotting starting with short on lead jogs to long lead trots to finishing the year trotting independently while steering her pony around a cones course. Her aim next year is to compete grade 2 dressage.
To say her coach is proud would be an understatement, watching her grow & succeed is all we ever want.
Well done Layla!

Over the last couple of years there have been so many participants that have benefitted from Janelle's passion and experience!
There have been laughs and tears and adventures along the way!
While she may not be around regularly we hope she is no stranger!
Thank you Janelle, you will be missed, wishing you all the best for your travel and new community adventures!

We are proud to announce Cloud as our Tall Timbers Horse of the Year for 2025! Following a tough 2024 which saw Cloud sidelined for 4mths of the year & ultimately having her eye removed 2 days before Christmas she bounded into 2025 feeling like a new pony & ready to get back to work! Jumping back into a full schedule of group sessions & tots programming we couldn’t be happier but she soon made it clear she had bigger aspirations of wanting to go to SIEC & compete at the RDA(NSW) State Mounted Games!!! A seasoned competitor from her polo years she kept her riders safe through the games courses & played an important role keeping both the horses & humans around her calm while waiting their next turn. This sweet little mare may only have been with us for 2yrs but the impact she has made makes her an invaluable member of our team & we would lost without her. Congratulations Cloud, we love you! 🥰 ❤️
