We currently have a vacancy at a brand-new, purpose-built High Physical Support (HPS) Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) villa on stunning Bribie Island.

Located in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood, this modern home is positioned just across from a park and only one block from the waterfront of the Bribie Passage – the perfect blend of serenity and accessibility.

This vacancy is suitable for a participant with approved HPS SDA funding, with the Supported Independent Living (SIL) ratio of 1:2.

**Meet Matthew – Your Future Housemate**
Matthew is an easy-going, friendly gentleman who brings a calm and cheerful presence to the home. He has a deep love for 60’s music – especially the legendary Daniel O’Donnell – and watching music videos often lights up his face. With a bit of encouragement, you might even catch him dancing along for a few moments!

Though Matthew is non-verbal, he enjoys company, understands simple conversation, and finds comfort in being around others. He thrives in an environment where people engage with him, talk to him, and include him in everyday moments. He’s quite active and enjoys watching the world go by.

Our lovely house located at beautiful Bribie Island has a SIL vacancy open for a participant funded at a 1:2 rate.

The house is currently occupied by a young gentleman in his early 30s, who enjoys heading out for a coffee, taking his wheelchair out for a roll along the beach, horseback riding, going to the library, YouTube and watching anime.
This gentleman is not concerned if his new roommate is male or female.

The house features the following:
Housing commission house - low fixed rent
Your own room + bathroom + entertainment area
A short walk to Bribie Island passage for activities and gorgeous views
Located close to public transport and shopping amenities
Wheelchair accessible
Available now
The new housemate would be supported by DAS - a NDIS registered provider.

SIL VACANCY - We have a vacancy in a lovely low set home on Bribie Island. Home is open plan, with a beautiful garden space. The current occupant is a 33yr old male, who has made this his home for the last 5yrs. A large bedroom and fully accessible bathroom is available (wheelchair friendly). Maybe fishing is your thing!

Social and recreation activities are part of everyday life. These are activities everybody does for fun and can help with your health and wellbeing. They can also help you to meet new people and improve your skills.

Social and recreation activities can include things like:
*visiting your friends and family
*active hobbies, such as swimming, walking, the gym
*playing sport, such as tennis or bocce
*going out, for instance to the movies or a concert
*going places for fun, such as shopping or visiting a museum
*relaxing, like meditation or yoga
*learning new skills, like dance or art classes.

You may need short term support to help you get started with your activity. This short term support may build your skills so you can participate independently. Or, you may need support staff who can regularly help you to participate.

NDIS participants can access support staff to assist them with these types of activities. Contact us today!

Staff provide the care and support that you need to live as independently as possible in your own home.

It includes help or supervision with daily tasks, like personal care or cooking meals. It helps you live as independently as possible, while building your skills.

Supported independent living is for people with higher support needs, who need some level of help at home all the time.

This means you need a significant amount of help throughout the day, 7 days a week. This includes overnight support.

Whether it is walking along the beach at Bribie or Redcliffe, exploring the Arts Centre, swimming at the local pool or going to the shopping centre, Matthew always keeps busy!
