One thing I stopped doing during my career transition
was trying to make everyone understand.

I noticed how much energy I spent explaining myself,
softening my uncertainty,
and carrying other people’s discomfort.

Letting go of that didn’t bring instant clarity.
It brought space.

Space to listen inward.
Space to let things be unfinished.
Space to stay connected to myself,
even when others couldn’t fully meet me there.

Transition doesn’t ask us to be certain.
It asks us to stay present.

If you’re in this season too,
you don’t need to justify where you are.
You’re allowed to move at the pace of what’s emerging.

When pressure enters, we often leave ourselves behind.

We notice it in quiet, almost invisible ways:

✨ Saying yes when your body softly whispered no
✨ Feeling rushed when nothing is truly urgent
✨ Performing, pleasing, or proving—instead of pausing, listening, and honouring what you actually need

These aren’t just mindset problems.
They’re signals of self-abandonment from an overwhelmed nervous system.

🕊️ That’s why I created something gentle for these moments:
The 3-Step Gentle Return

A printable companion for when you feel pulled away from yourself.

It’s not a fix.
It’s not a strategy.
It’s a regulated way back to yourself—before you react, decide, or perform.

A return to:
🌿 Calm — before you respond
🌤️ Clarity — before you choose
🌱 Confidence — without performing

A soft pause — not a shutdown.
A reconnection — not a reaction.

Over the past 4 years, my life felt like one big transition.

I stepped away from what I used to do, without a clear plan for what came next.
Career paused. Identity shifting. Life stretching and unfolding into something new.

I became a mum after a long and bumpy ride and with that came a different kind of wisdom.
Not the kind found in planning or pushing forward,
but in being still long enough to hear what mattered.

During this time, I didn’t have a strategy.
I simply allowed myself to be in the in-between
not rushing to define it, not needing to “be productive” through it.

And slowly, something beautiful happened.

People started reaching out.

Not for what I used to offer but for something deeper.
They wanted support navigating their own shifts
career, identity, purpose, direction.
They wanted a gentler way to move forward, without losing themselves.

And I realised this is the work I love.
Not just helping people make change,
but helping them move through change
with calm, clarity, and quiet confidence.

It feels like what was becoming quietly in the background
it just needed time.

🌿

If you’re in a season of pause or becoming even if it feels unclear
maybe it’s not the end of something,
but the beginning of something that just needs time to reveal itself.

✨ If you’re craving a softer way forward…
I’ve created a simple 3-step guide to help you pause the noise, calm your system, and reconnect with what truly matters — without pressure, hustle, or overwhelm.

It’s not another checklist.
It’s a gentle landing place.

🕊️ Get the guide and begin your softer reset.

Calm isn’t always soft, quiet, or peaceful.

Sometimes calm is strength.

It looks like saying “not today” or “that’s enough.”
It looks like holding a boundary, even when your voice shakes.
It looks like choosing honesty over harmony.

Calm isn’t passive.
It’s powerful.

It’s your nervous system knowing when to step back,
before it tips into overwhelm.

It’s the moment you stop, breathe, and choose
what truly supports you —
not what simply looks good or performs well for others.

And this kind of calm?
It doesn’t always feel comfortable.

But it’s deeply regulating.
It protects your energy.
It restores your clarity.
It builds your confidence.

🪴
If you’re craving a gentler way back to yourself —
I’ve created The 3-Step Gentle Return,
a simple, thoughtful practice to help you step away from overwhelm
and land somewhere steadier, softer, and more self-honest.

Lately, I’ve been speaking with people who are in seasons of change — career shifts, parenting transitions, leadership roles evolving, identities reshaping.

And there seems to be a common experience:

We often try to force clarity by thinking harder, planning more, getting busy, or feeling like we need to “figure it out.”

But in my own transitions — and in sitting with others — I’ve learned something different:

💭 Clarity often doesn’t arrive through effort.
🕊 It arrives through space.

Sometimes, what we need is not more strategy, but more room to breathe.

When we slow down just enough to listen inward, we begin to notice:

✨ What no longer fits
✨ What we’ve quietly outgrown
✨ What still lights something up inside us

It doesn’t always give us the full plan.

But it gently shows us where to place the next step.

This is where calm, clarity, and confidence really begin —
not from striving or performing,
but from returning to presence. 🌿

If you’re in that in-between space — not who you were, not yet who you’re becoming — you’re not alone. It’s a real and important place.

💛
Have you ever had clarity come quietly — in a moment of pause rather than effort?

Hi, I’m Sarah 👋

I sit alongside people in seasons of change especially those tender moments when you’re asking…

✨ What’s next for me?
✨ Who am I becoming now?
✨ How do I do this in a way that feels true to me?

I found myself in those questions too navigating career shifts, identity shifts, and whole-life transitions all at once.

And I realised something important:
Clarity doesn’t always come from thinking harder, planning more, or pushing through.
It often arrives when we slow down, listen in, and create space for what is quietly becoming.

That’s where calm, clarity and confidence truly grow
not from performing or proving,
but from returning to presence. 🌿

So if you’re in a transition; career, role, identity, motherhood, or simply a new inner season and you want to navigate it gently, intentionally, and without losing yourself…

I’m glad you’re here. You’re not alone. 💛

(You’re welcome to follow along, reflect, or simply soak in what you need.)

I'm not gone just resting. I realised I hit pause without informing all the wonderful humans who have been following along.

The start of 2023 was an amazing time of working at 120% recording live content for the Nurture Me Program while working full time.

It was a very busy and creative time which is only sustainable for me with great periods of rest following. After expending some serious energy I decided to rest awhile.

During this rest cycle I have been reflecting and observing. I've created the space to go deeper and learn deeply about who I am and what I want need and truely desire.

During this time I've been experimenting with living in flow and human design. I have been challenged and blown away by my blueprint.

For those following along and who know this tool I'm 5:2 Manifestor with Emotional Authority, LAX of Upheaval and quad right variables.

Human design has given me the language and permission to explore alternative ways of doing my thing.

If you're interested learning a bit about your design I'm fascinated by looking at charts and learning along the way.

I'm interested in guiding humans who want to explore an authentic version of themselves through instinctive approaches to life, living in flow, welcoming all parts of themselves.

If you want an instinctive and intuitive guidance session where I hold a mirror up to your wonderful self.

Book here: https://nurturerssanctuary.as.me/?appointmentType=50983244

I'm only doing this for the next little while as an invitational experiment for those who maybe interested in living their authentic life.

So I wanted to write to you about overwhelm.

Let me tell you I'm no stranger this old friend:

🌿 The sinking sticky feeling in the pit of my stomach.

🌿 The desire to run and hide.

🌿 The sleepless nights trying to scheme my way out of all the commitments and promises I made.

🌿 The weight on my shoulders and the fear you'll drop one of the many balls you're juggling.

I have some tools that help me to kick start and keep going and I want to offer them to you.

One of these tools is coming home to myself.

A mantra I frequent; I belong here and I am home.

When I say that I mean in my body, the one home I will always have during my time on this earth.

Home for me feels safe, warm, no judgement, freedom and peace from the chaos.

It wasn't always like that. I used to fight myself and thought I was going mad.

My mind would race and I would spiral in to the pits of an anxiety freeze state.

Unable to run or fight back I felt stuck. And to top it off the self criticism was the worst of all.

I didn't love myself. I used to think why would anyone love me; I'm annoying, not good enough, abrupt and slow.

A lot has changed so much so the self criticism has become quiet and I'm able to enlist compassion and be my own best friend.

I equate this to my practice of Gentle Yoga and Instinctive Meditation TM.

Now I want to share these tools with you.

Each Thursday for the next 8 weeks I'm hosting a live recorded class 5.30-6.30pm AEST.

For a taste of what is on offer DM me and I'll send you a recording of my latest gentle yoga and meditation class Coming home to Self.
